హైదరాబాద్ను భవిష్యత్తులో కాలుష్య సమస్యల నుంచి కాపాడుతూ ప్రపంచ నగరాలతో పోటీ పడేలా అభివృద్ధి చేయడానికి ప్రభుత్వం సమగ్ర ప్రణాళికలు రూపొందిస్తున్నట్లు Revanth Reddy తెలిపారు. హైదరాబాద్లో జరిగిన కార్యక్రమంలో మాట్లాడుతూ తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి Revanth Reddy నగరాభివృద్ధిపై కీలక ప్రకటనలు చేశారు. ప్రధాన మెట్రో నగరాలు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న కాలుష్యం, ట్రాఫిక్, వరదలు వంటి సమస్యలు భవిష్యత్తులో హైదరాబాద్కు తలెత్తకుండా ముందస్తు ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. నగరాన్ని ప్రపంచ స్థాయి నగరాలతో పోటీ పడేలా అభివృద్ధి చేయడం లక్ష్యమని పేర్కొన్నారు.
Speaking at an event in Hyderabad, the Chief Minister said the government is preparing long-term strategies to prevent problems faced by major metropolitan cities such as pollution, traffic congestion and flooding. The aim is to make Hyderabad competitive with leading global cities.
కాలుష్య నియంత్రణలో భాగంగా హైదరాబాద్లో నడుస్తున్న ఆర్టీసీ డీజిల్ బస్సులను దశలవారీగా తొలగించి 2026 డిసెంబర్ 9 నాటికి వంద శాతం ఎలక్ట్రిక్ బస్సులను ప్రవేశపెట్టనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. ప్రస్తుతం నగరంలో సుమారు 2800 డీజిల్ బస్సులు నడుస్తున్నాయని, వాటి స్థానంలో ఇప్పటికే 500 ఎలక్ట్రిక్ బస్సులను ప్రవేశపెట్టామని చెప్పారు. మిగిలిన బస్సులను కూడా త్వరలో ఈవీలుగా మార్చే ప్రణాళిక ఉందని తెలిపారు.
As part of pollution control, the government plans to replace diesel buses operated by Telangana State Road Transport Corporation with electric buses. By December 9, 2026, the city is expected to run entirely on electric buses. Currently about 2,800 diesel buses operate in the city, out of which 500 electric buses have already been introduced.
మూసీ నది పునరుద్ధరణకు కూడా ప్రభుత్వం ప్రణాళికలు రూపొందిస్తున్నట్లు సీఎం పేర్కొన్నారు. ఇతర రాష్ట్రాల్లో అమలైన నది అభివృద్ధి ప్రాజెక్టుల మాదిరిగానే Musi River వెంట రివర్ ఫ్రంట్ ప్రాజెక్టును అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించిందన్నారు. ఈ ప్రాజెక్టులో భాగంగా పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణ, కాలుష్య నియంత్రణ చర్యలు చేపట్టనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
The government is also planning the development of a riverfront project along the Musi River to address pollution and improve urban infrastructure. The project is expected to include environmental protection measures and better river management.
నగర కాలుష్యాన్ని తగ్గించేందుకు సింగిల్ యూజ్ ప్లాస్టిక్పై నిషేధం, కాలుష్యకారక పరిశ్రమలను నగర అవతలికి తరలించడం వంటి చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నామని సీఎం చెప్పారు. అలాగే నగరంలో ఉన్న రెండు లక్షల ఆటోలను దశలవారీగా ఎలక్ట్రిక్ వాహనాలుగా మార్చే ప్రతిపాదనను కూడా పరిశీలిస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
The Chief Minister added that steps such as banning single-use plastics and relocating highly polluting industries outside the city are being implemented. The government is also exploring plans to convert nearly two lakh auto-rickshaws in the city into electric vehicles.
International Women’s Day సందర్భంగా మహిళా జర్నలిస్టులను సత్కరించిన సీఎం, సమాజ అభివృద్ధిలో మహిళల పాత్ర కీలకమని అన్నారు. మహిళలు ఆర్థికంగా బలపడితేనే సమాజం ముందుకు సాగుతుందని పేర్కొన్నారు. మీడియా రంగంలో పనిచేసే మహిళలకు రక్షణ కల్పించేందుకు ప్రత్యేక కమిటీలను ఏర్పాటు చేసే అంశాన్ని కూడా ప్రభుత్వం పరిశీలిస్తోందన్నారు.
On International Women’s Day, the Chief Minister also honoured women journalists and highlighted the role of women in economic and social development. The government is considering measures to ensure safety and support for women working in the media sector.
