In this backdrop, questions are being raised whether demolitions in Bhoodan lands could take place without the knowledge of the Revenue Minister. Senior journalist Pasham Yadagiri reportedly questioned Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on the issue, prompting him to seek clarification from the district Collector.

While Ponguleti maintains that he had no prior information and distances himself from the decision, supporters of Tummala Nageswara Rao also deny any involvement. This has intensified speculation over whether officials acted independently as per court orders or under specific instructions.
