మహబూబాబాద్ జిల్లాలో హృదయ విదారక ఘటన చోటుచేసుకుంది. కన్నతండ్రే కాలయముడై తన ఇద్దరు చిన్నారులను హత్య చేసి అనంతరం తానే ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకున్న ఘటన స్థానికంగా తీవ్ర విషాదాన్ని కలిగించింది.
తొర్రూరు మండలం అమ్మాపురం గ్రామానికి చెందిన గుంషావలి తన భార్యతో జరిగిన కుటుంబ కలహాల కారణంగా తీవ్ర మనస్తాపానికి గురైనట్లు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు. సోమవారం సాయంత్రం భార్యాభర్తల మధ్య జరిగిన గొడవ ఈ దారుణానికి దారితీసినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.
మనస్తాపంతో గుంషావలి తన ఇద్దరు కుమారులు ఐదేళ్ల విలాస్, మూడేళ్ల వీకేష్లను వెంట తీసుకుని ఇంటి నుంచి బయటకు వెళ్లాడు. నాన్న పిలుస్తున్నాడనే నమ్మకంతో చిన్నారులు అతడి వెంట వెళ్లారు.
తొర్రూరు వ్యవసాయ మార్కెట్ కమిటీ సమీపంలోని నిర్మానుష్య ప్రాంతానికి తీసుకెళ్లిన గుంషావలి ముందుగా ఇద్దరు చిన్నారులకు ఉరివేసి హత్య చేశాడు. అనంతరం తానూ ఉరివేసుకుని ఆత్మహత్యకు పాల్పడ్డాడు.
మంగళవారం ఉదయం చెట్టుకు వేలాడుతున్న మృతదేహాలను గుర్తించిన స్థానికులు వెంటనే పోలీసులకు సమాచారం అందించారు. సంఘటనాస్థలానికి చేరుకున్న పోలీసులు మృతదేహాలను పోస్టుమార్టం నిమిత్తం ఆస్పత్రికి తరలించారు.
ఈ ఘటనపై కేసు నమోదు చేసిన పోలీసులు దర్యాప్తు ప్రారంభించారు. కుటుంబ కలహాలు ఎంతటి విషాదాలకు దారితీస్తాయో ఈ ఘటన మరోసారి గుర్తు చేసిందని స్థానికులు ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు.

A heartbreaking incident in Mahabubabad district has shocked the local community after a father allegedly killed his two young children and later died by suicide in Torrur mandal.
According to police, Gunshavali, a resident of Ammapuram village in Torrur mandal, was reportedly distressed following a serious dispute with his wife. The family argument that began on Monday evening is believed to have led to the tragic incident.
In a state of emotional distress, Gunshavali took his two sons — five-year-old Vilas and three-year-old Vikesh — along with him from home. Trusting their father, the children followed him without knowing the danger ahead.
He reportedly took them to an isolated area near the Torrur Agricultural Market Committee. There, he allegedly hanged both children and later died by suicide by hanging himself.
On Tuesday morning, locals noticed the bodies hanging from a tree and immediately informed the police. Officers reached the spot, shifted the bodies to the hospital for postmortem examination, and registered a case.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident. Officials suspect that family disputes and emotional distress triggered the tragedy.
The incident has left Ammapuram village in deep mourning, with residents expressing grief over the death of the innocent children and calling it a devastating reminder of how family conflicts can destroy lives.
