Harish Rao Supports Artisan Strike
సిద్దిపేటలో విద్యుత్ ఆర్టిజన్ ఉద్యోగుల సమ్మెకు హరీష్ రావు సంఘీభావం ప్రకటిస్తూ, ప్రభుత్వంపై హామీలు నిలబెట్టలేదని విమర్శించారు.

T. Harish Rao సిద్దిపేట ముస్తాబాద్ చౌరస్తా వద్ద విద్యుత్ డివిజన్ కార్యాలయం ముందు తెలంగాణ విద్యుత్ ఆర్టిజన్ ఎంప్లాయిస్ యూనియన్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో జరుగుతున్న సమ్మెలో పాల్గొని సంఘీభావం తెలిపారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా మాట్లాడుతూ, రాష్ట్రంలో అన్ని వర్గాలకు ఇచ్చిన హామీలు రెండున్నర సంవత్సరాలు గడిచినా అమలు కాలేదని ఆరోపించారు.
గతంలో K. Chandrashekar Rao పాలనలో 26 వేల మంది ఆర్టిజన్స్ను గుర్తించి వేతనాలు పెంచినట్లు గుర్తుచేశారు. కాంగ్రెస్ అధికారంలోకి రాకముందు ఆర్టిజన్ ఉద్యోగులను ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులుగా గుర్తిస్తామని చెప్పి, అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత హామీలు నిలబెట్టలేదని విమర్శించారు.
అంగన్వాడి ఉద్యోగులకు 18 వేల వేతనం, రిటైర్మెంట్ తర్వాత రూ.2 లక్షలు ఇస్తామని చెప్పి అమలు చేయలేదని పేర్కొన్నారు. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ధర్నాలు జరుగుతున్నా ప్రభుత్వం స్పందించడం లేదని అన్నారు. ఇది ప్రజా పాలన కాదని, ప్రజల సమస్యలపై ప్రభుత్వం నిర్లక్ష్యంగా వ్యవహరిస్తోందని విమర్శించారు.
Bhatti Vikramarka పాదయాత్రలో ఇచ్చిన హామీలు కూడా అమలు కాలేదని తెలిపారు. అప్పులు తెచ్చి కమిషన్లు పొందడంపైనే దృష్టి పెట్టి ప్రజల సమస్యలను పట్టించుకోవడం లేదని ఆరోపించారు.
ముఖ్యమంత్రి వెంటనే ఆర్టిజన్ ఉద్యోగులను చర్చలకు పిలవాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. గతంలో హైకోర్టు స్టే ఉన్నప్పటికీ ఆర్టిజన్ ఉద్యోగులకు వేతనాలు పెంచిన ఉదాహరణ ఉందని చెప్పారు. హామీలు నిలబెట్టకపోతే ఆర్టిజన్ ఉద్యోగులతో కలిసి బిఆర్ఎస్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ప్రత్యక్ష పోరాటాన్ని మరింత తీవ్రం చేస్తామని హెచ్చరించారు.
T. Harish Rao joined the protest organized by the Telangana Electricity Artisan Employees Union at Mustabad Chowrasta in Siddipet and expressed solidarity. He alleged that the government has failed to implement promises made to various sections even after two and a half years.
He recalled that during the tenure of K. Chandrashekar Rao, around 26,000 artisans were recognized and given salary hikes. He criticized the Congress government for not fulfilling its promise to recognize artisan employees as government staff.
He also raised concerns over unfulfilled assurances to Anganwadi workers regarding salary hikes and retirement benefits. Despite protests across the state, he said, the government has not responded adequately.
He further alleged that promises made during Bhatti Vikramarka’s padayatra were not implemented and accused the government of neglecting public issues. He demanded that the Chief Minister immediately hold talks with the artisan employees and warned of intensified protests under the BRS if demands are not met
