శామీర్పేట మండలం అలియాబాద్ మున్సిపల్ పరిధిలోని తుర్కపల్లి గ్రామంలో ఉన్న మహాత్మా జ్యోతిబా పూలే బి.సి. వెల్ఫేర్ పాఠశాలలో శనివారం రోడ్డు భద్రతపై అవగాహన కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించారు. జీనోమ్ వ్యాలీ పోలీస్ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ జి. గురువయ్య ముఖ్య అతిథిగా హాజరై విద్యార్థులకు అవగాహన కల్పించారు.
‘అరైవ్ అలైవ్’ కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా నిర్వహించిన ఈ సమావేశంలో ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ గురువయ్య మాట్లాడుతూ మైనర్లు వాహనాలు నడపకూడదని, తల్లిదండ్రులు పిల్లలకు వాహనాలు ఇవ్వకుండా జాగ్రత్త పడాలని సూచించారు.
మైనర్లకు వాహనాలు ఇస్తే వాహన యజమానులపై కేసులు నమోదు అవుతాయని హెచ్చరించారు. ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ ట్రాఫిక్ నిబంధనలు పాటిస్తూ బాధ్యతగా వాహనాలు నడపాలని తెలిపారు.
సుమారు 250 మంది విద్యార్థులు ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్నారు. హెల్మెట్ ధరించడం, సీట్బెల్ట్ వినియోగం, రోడ్డు భద్రతా నియమాలు, మైనర్స్ డ్రైవింగ్ వల్ల కలిగే ప్రమాదాలపై పోలీస్ అధికారులు వివరించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పోలీసులు, పాఠశాల సిబ్బంది, విద్యార్థులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

A road safety awareness programme was conducted on Saturday at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule BC Welfare School in Turkapally village under Aliabad municipal limits of Shamirpet mandal. Genome Valley Police Inspector G. Guruvayya attended as the chief guest and educated students on traffic safety rules.
As part of the “Arrive Alive” campaign, Inspector Guruvayya said that minors should not drive vehicles and parents must avoid giving bikes or other vehicles to underage children.
He warned that legal cases would be registered against vehicle owners if minors are found driving. He also advised everyone to follow traffic rules responsibly while using roads.
Around 250 students participated in the awareness programme. Police officials explained the importance of wearing helmets, using seat belts, following road safety norms, and the dangers caused by minors driving vehicles.
Police personnel, school staff, and students actively participated in the programme.
