భారత్ ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మక బ్రిక్స్ అధ్యక్షత–2026లో భాగంగా కేంద్ర విద్యా మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ ఒడిశాలోని భువనేశ్వర్లో 3వ బ్రిక్స్ విద్యా సీనియర్ అధికారుల సమావేశాన్ని నిర్వహించింది. ఈ సమావేశంలో బ్రిక్స్ సభ్య దేశాల సీనియర్ అధికారులు, ప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
సమావేశంలో ప్రతిపాదిత **బ్రిక్స్ విద్యా మంత్రుల ప్రకటన (BRICS Education Ministers’ Declaration)**పై విస్తృతంగా చర్చించారు. అలాగే సంప్రదాయ మరియు స్వదేశీ విజ్ఞాన వ్యవస్థలపై బ్రిక్స్ మార్గదర్శక సూత్రాలు (BRICS Guiding Principles on Traditional and Indigenous Knowledge Systems) రూపకల్పనపై అభిప్రాయాలను పంచుకున్నారు.
అదనంగా చిన్నారుల ప్రాథమిక సంరక్షణ, విద్య (ECCE), సాంకేతిక మరియు వృత్తి విద్యా శిక్షణ (TVET), నైపుణ్యాభివృద్ధి, ఉమ్మడి పరిశోధనలు, ఆవిష్కరణలు, విద్యార్హతల పరస్పర గుర్తింపు, విద్యా నాయకత్వం వంటి కీలక అంశాలపై సభ్య దేశాలు చర్చించాయి.
ప్రతినిధి బృందాలు తమ సూచనలు, సిఫారసులను పంచుకుని ప్రతిపాదిత తీర్మానాలపై ఏకాభిప్రాయాన్ని మరింత బలోపేతం చేశాయి. సంస్థాగత సహకారం, సామర్థ్యాభివృద్ధి, విజ్ఞాన మార్పిడి ద్వారా సమగ్ర, స్థిరమైన, భవిష్యత్ అవసరాలకు అనుగుణమైన విద్యా వ్యవస్థలను నిర్మించేందుకు తమ ఉమ్మడి కట్టుబాటును మరోసారి పునరుద్ఘాటించాయి.
ఈ సమావేశం అనంతరం ఆగస్టు 7, 2026న భువనేశ్వర్లో జరగనున్న 13వ బ్రిక్స్ విద్యా మంత్రుల సమావేశానికి తుది కార్యాచరణకు బాటలు వేసింది.

As part of India’s prestigious BRICS Chairship 2026, the Ministry of Education hosted the 3rd BRICS Education Senior Officials’ Meeting in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, with participation from senior officials and delegates representing BRICS member countries.
The meeting focused on the proposed BRICS Education Ministers’ Declaration and discussed the BRICS Guiding Principles on Traditional and Indigenous Knowledge Systems. Delegates also reviewed cooperation in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), skills development, collaborative research and innovation, mutual recognition of qualifications and academic leadership.
Representatives exchanged views and recommendations, strengthened consensus on the proposed outcomes and reaffirmed their collective commitment to building inclusive, resilient and future-ready education systems through stronger institutional cooperation, capacity building and knowledge sharing.
The deliberations are expected to provide the foundation for the 13th BRICS Education Ministers’ Meeting scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar on August 7, 2026.
