Orange Alert in Telangana as IMD Forecasts Heavy Rainfall Across Multiple Districts
తెలంగాణలో పలు జిల్లాలకు భారత వాతావరణ శాఖ (IMD) భారీ వర్షాల హెచ్చరిక జారీ చేసింది. రాష్ట్రంలోని ఉత్తర, తూర్పు ప్రాంతాల్లో రాబోయే గంటల్లో భారీ నుంచి అతిభారీ వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
ఆదిలాబాద్, నిజామాబాద్, కరీంనగర్, జగిత్యాల, ములుగు, భద్రాద్రి కొత్తగూడెం, ఖమ్మం సహా పలు జిల్లాలకు ఆరెంజ్ అలర్ట్ ప్రకటించారు. పిడుగులు, ఈదురుగాలులతో కూడిన ఉరుములు కూడా సంభవించే అవకాశం ఉందని హెచ్చరించారు.
ఇటీవలి రోజులుగా కొనసాగిన ఎండల తీవ్రత తగ్గుముఖం పట్టే అవకాశం ఉన్నప్పటికీ, భారీ వర్షాల కారణంగా ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని వాతావరణ శాఖ సూచించింది. ముఖ్యంగా లోతట్టు ప్రాంతాలు, చెరువులు, వాగులు సమీపంలో నివసించే ప్రజలు జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని అధికారులు పేర్కొన్నారు.
భారీ వర్షాల ప్రభావంతో రహదారి రవాణా, పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో నీటి నిల్వలు, విద్యుత్ సరఫరాపై తాత్కాలిక ప్రభావం పడే అవకాశం ఉంది. వ్యవసాయ కార్యకలాపాలకు వర్షాలు ఉపశమనం కలిగించే అవకాశమున్నప్పటికీ, పిడుగులు మరియు గాలివానల కారణంగా రైతులు జాగ్రత్తలు పాటించాలని సూచించారు.
జిల్లా యంత్రాంగాలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని, అవసరమైన సహాయక చర్యలకు సిద్ధంగా ఉండాలని రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేసినట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an Orange Alert for several districts in Telangana, warning of heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and lightning activity over the next few days.
Districts likely to receive significant rainfall include Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Jagtial, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem and Khammam. Weather officials said changing atmospheric conditions are creating favourable conditions for widespread rain across the state.
The rainfall is expected to provide relief from the recent heatwave conditions experienced in many parts of Telangana. However, authorities have cautioned residents to remain alert due to the possibility of thunderstorms, strong winds and lightning strikes.
