Students Learn About Public Services
కమ్యూనిటీ హెల్పర్స్ సేవలపై విద్యార్థులకు అవగాహన
శామీర్పేట, ఆగస్టు 31: సమాజానికి వివిధ రంగాలకు చెందిన కమ్యూనిటీ హెల్పర్స్ అందిస్తున్న సేవలపై విద్యార్థులకు అవగాహన కల్పించేందుకు తూముకుంట విజ్ఞాన్ భారతి హైస్కూల్ విద్యార్థులు సోమవారం క్షేత్రస్థాయి పరిశీలన చేపట్టారు.
పోలీసులు, రైతులు, వైద్యులు, ఆర్మీ జవాన్లు తదితర రంగాలకు చెందిన అధికారులు, సిబ్బంది సమాజానికి అందిస్తున్న సేవలను తెలుసుకునే కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా విద్యార్థులు రాజీవ్ రహదారిపై ట్రాఫిక్ పోలీసులు విధులు నిర్వహిస్తున్న తీరును ప్రత్యక్షంగా పరిశీలించారు. రోడ్డు భద్రతా నిబంధనల అమలు, ట్రాఫిక్ నియంత్రణలో పోలీసులు అందిస్తున్న సేవల గురించి తెలుసుకున్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా శామీర్పేట పోలీస్ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ నరసింహారెడ్డి, ట్రాఫిక్ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ జానకిరామ్, ఎస్ఐలు నవీన్రెడ్డి, కిషోర్, మండల విద్యాధికారి కమలాకర్, శామీర్పేట కమ్యూనిటీ హెల్త్ సెంటర్ వైద్యులను పాఠశాల యాజమాన్యం, విద్యార్థులు శాలువాలతో సన్మానించి పూల మొక్కలను అందజేశారు.
అనంతరం విద్యార్థులు శామీర్పేట పోలీస్స్టేషన్ను సందర్శించారు. ప్రజల రక్షణ, శాంతిభద్రతల పరిరక్షణలో పోలీసులు నిర్వహిస్తున్న విధులు, అందిస్తున్న సేవలను పరిశీలించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ట్రస్మా వైస్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ గోనె హనుమంత్రెడ్డి, విజ్ఞాన్ భారతి స్కూల్ కరస్పాండెంట్ జంగారెడ్డి, ప్రిన్సిపాల్ సంగీతారెడ్డి, ఉపాధ్యాయులు, విద్యార్థులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Students Gain Awareness of Community Helpers’ Services
Shamirpet, August 31: Students of Vignan Bharathi High School in Thumkunta undertook a field visit on Monday to gain first-hand knowledge of the services provided by community helpers in different sectors.
As part of the programme, students observed traffic police personnel performing their duties on Rajiv Rahadari. They learnt about traffic regulation, road safety rules and the services provided by traffic police to ensure the safety of road users.
On the occasion, the school management and students felicitated Shamirpet Police Inspector Narasimha Reddy, Traffic Inspector Janakiram, SIs Naveen Reddy and Kishore, Mandal Education Officer Kamalakar and doctors of the Shamirpet Community Health Centre. They were presented with shawls and saplings.
The students later visited the Shamirpet Police Station and learnt about the role of police personnel in protecting citizens and maintaining law and order.
TRSMA Vice-President Gone Hanumanth Reddy, Vignan Bharathi School Correspondent Jangareddy, Principal Sangeetha Reddy, teachers and students participated in the programme.
