తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలోని మహిళా స్వయం సహాయక సంఘాల బలోపేతానికి ప్రభుత్వం కీలక అడుగు వేసింది. రాష్ట్రంలోని 22 జిల్లాల్లో నిర్మించిన ఇందిరా మహిళా శక్తి భవనాలను జూన్ 2న రాష్ట్ర అవతరణ దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా ప్రారంభించేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం సన్నాహాలు పూర్తి చేస్తోంది.

గ్రామీణ మహిళలకు శాశ్వత వేదికలను అందించాలనే లక్ష్యంతో ఒక్కో భవనాన్ని సుమారు 15 వేల చదరపు అడుగుల విస్తీర్ణంలో రూ.5 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో నిర్మించారు. మొత్తం 22 జిల్లాలకు కలిపి ప్రభుత్వం రూ.110 కోట్లను కేటాయించింది.

హనుమకొండ, నిజామాబాద్, జగిత్యాల, ములుగు, సూర్యాపేట, యాదాద్రి భువనగిరి వంటి జిల్లాల్లో ఇప్పటికే 17 భవనాల నిర్మాణం పూర్తయింది. మిగిలిన జిల్లాల్లో పనులు తుది దశకు చేరుకున్నాయని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. పంచాయతీరాజ్ ఇంజినీరింగ్ విభాగం, రాష్ట్ర పేదరిక నిర్మూలన సంస్థ పర్యవేక్షణలో పనులు వేగంగా కొనసాగుతున్నాయి.

ఇప్పటివరకు మహిళా సంఘాలు సమావేశాలు, శిక్షణ కార్యక్రమాల కోసం అద్దె భవనాలపై ఆధారపడాల్సి వచ్చేది. కొత్త భవనాల్లో సమావేశ హాళ్లు, శిక్షణ కేంద్రాలు, మహిళా ఉత్పత్తుల ప్రదర్శన, మార్కెటింగ్ సదుపాయాలు ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నారు.

గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి శాఖ మంత్రి సీతక్క మాట్లాడుతూ మహిళా సాధికారతకు ఈ భవనాలు కీలక వేదికలుగా మారనున్నాయని తెలిపారు. పెండింగ్ పనులు ఉంటే జూన్ 2 నాటికి పూర్తి చేయాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.

ప్రభుత్వం ఈ ప్రాజెక్టును మహిళల ఆర్థిక, సామాజిక అభివృద్ధికి కీలక మైలురాయిగా భావిస్తోంది.

The Telangana Government is set to inaugurate Indira Mahila Shakti buildings in 22 districts on June 2 as part of the State Formation Day celebrations, aiming to strengthen women self-help groups (SHGs) across the state.

The government has allocated ₹110 crore for the construction of these modern buildings, with each structure built at an estimated cost of ₹5 crore over nearly 15,000 square feet. The initiative is designed to provide permanent infrastructure support for women’s groups involved in economic and community development activities.

According to officials, construction has already been completed in 17 districts, including Hanumakonda, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Mulugu, Suryapet, and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, while works in the remaining districts are in the final stages.

The buildings will function as dedicated centers for SHG meetings, training sessions, product exhibitions, skill development programs, and marketing activities. Until now, many women’s groups had to depend on rented buildings for conducting official and training activities.

Rural Development Minister Seethakka said the project would become a strong platform for women empowerment and financial growth in Telangana. Officials have been instructed to complete any pending works before June 2.

The government believes the initiative will significantly improve institutional support for rural women and strengthen self-help group networks throughout Telangana.
