వరంగల్ కమిషనరేట్ పరిధిలో విధి నిర్వహణలో నక్సలిజంపై పోరాడుతూ ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయిన 28 మంది పోలీసు అమరవీరుల కుటుంబ సభ్యులతో జిల్లా పర్యటనలో భాగంగా సమావేశమై వారి సమస్యలను ప్రభుత్వం దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లారు.
అమరవీరుల కుటుంబాలకు ప్రయోజనాలు, సర్వీస్ రికార్డులు, పెండింగ్లో ఉన్న హక్కులు, సంక్షేమ అంశాలను ఒకే వేదికపై తెలుసుకునేందుకు టీజీ-వీర్ ప్రత్యేక ఫిర్యాదు పోర్టల్ను ప్రారంభించారు. కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు తక్షణ సమాచారం అందుబాటులో ఉండేలా క్యూఆర్ కోడ్ ఆధారిత కుటుంబ కార్డులను కూడా అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకువచ్చారు.
కుటుంబ సభ్యులు సమర్పించిన సమస్యలను సమగ్రంగా నమోదు చేసి పరిష్కరించాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ఎక్స్గ్రేషియా, పెన్షన్లు, ఇతర సంక్షేమ ప్రయోజనాలకు సంబంధించిన పెండింగ్ సమస్యలను త్వరితగతిన పరిష్కరించాలని సూచించారు.
తాను ఉద్యోగ జీవితాన్ని వరంగల్లోనే ప్రారంభించిన సమయంలో నక్సలిజం తీవ్రంగా ఉన్న పరిస్థితులను గుర్తుచేసుకున్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం ప్రాంతంలో నెలకొన్న శాంతి, భద్రతల వెనుక గతంలో విధులు నిర్వహించిన పోలీసుల త్యాగాలు ఉన్నాయని పేర్కొన్నారు.
అనంతరం నిర్మాణంలో ఉన్న వరంగల్ పోలీస్ కమిషనర్ కార్యాలయాన్ని పరిశీలించారు. ప్రజలకు మెరుగైన సేవలు అందేలా కార్యాలయంలో అవసరమైన మార్పులు చేపట్టాలని, పరిపాలనా సామర్థ్యం, పర్యవేక్షణ వ్యవస్థలను మరింత బలోపేతం చేసేలా నిర్మాణ పనులు ఉండాలని అధికారులకు సూచించారు.

During the second day of the district visits, the families of 28 police martyrs of the Warangal Commissionerate who lost their lives in the line of duty while fighting Naxalism were met and their concerns were discussed.
The TG-VEER dedicated grievance portal was launched to provide the families with a single platform to track benefits, service records and pending entitlements. QR-enabled family cards were also introduced to provide families with quick access to relevant information.
Officials were directed to consolidate the grievances raised by the families and ensure their prompt resolution. Particular attention was given to pending issues concerning ex-gratia payments, pensions and welfare benefits.
The importance of the sacrifices made by the police personnel who served during the period of intense insurgency was also highlighted. Having begun a career in Warangal during the peak of the insurgency, the sacrifices of those who laid down their lives in the line of duty were recalled as a foundation for the peace prevailing in the region today.
The under-construction Police Commissionerate office in Warangal was also inspected. Officials were directed to make necessary improvements to ensure better access for citizens, greater administrative efficiency and stronger surveillance readiness.
