CM Revanth Reddy Urges Telangana MPs to Unite for State Development and Pending Central Approvals

హైదరాబాద్లోని మహాత్మా జ్యోతిబా ఫూలే ప్రజాభవన్లో రాష్ట్రానికి చెందిన పార్లమెంట్ సభ్యులతో ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి సమావేశమయ్యారు. తెలంగాణ అభివృద్ధి విషయంలో రాజకీయాలకు అతీతంగా అందరూ కలిసి పనిచేయాలని ఆయన ఎంపీలకు పిలుపునిచ్చారు. ఈ నెల 20 నుంచి ప్రారంభమయ్యే పార్లమెంట్ సమావేశాల దృష్ట్యా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ ఆమోదం కోసం పెండింగ్లో ఉన్న కీలక అంశాలను పవర్ పాయింట్ ప్రజెంటేషన్ ద్వారా వివరించారు.
రాష్ట్రానికి అవసరమైన నీటి పారుదల ప్రాజెక్టులు, మౌలిక వసతుల అభివృద్ధి, హైదరాబాద్లో భారతీయ నిర్వహణ సంస్థ (ఐఐఎం) ఏర్పాటు, హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రో ఫేజ్–2 విస్తరణ, రీజినల్ రింగ్ రోడ్, మూసీ పునరుజ్జీవన ప్రాజెక్టు, అంతర్రాష్ట్ర జల వివాదాల పరిష్కారం వంటి అంశాలపై కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ అనుమతులు సాధించేందుకు ఎంపీలు ప్రత్యేకంగా కృషి చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి కోరారు.
హైదరాబాద్లో ఐఐఎం ఏర్పాటు కోసం కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక శాఖ ఆమోదం అవసరమని పేర్కొన్న ఆయన, కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక మంత్రి నిర్మలా సీతారామన్ను కలిసి ఈ అంశాన్ని ముందుకు తీసుకెళ్లాలని ఎంపీలకు సూచించారు. హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రో విస్తరణ, ఎస్బీఐ క్యాప్స్ను కన్సల్టెంట్గా నియమించే ప్రక్రియ వేగవంతం కావాలని కూడా కోరారు.
రీజినల్ రింగ్ రోడ్ ఉత్తర భాగంలో భూసేకరణ దాదాపు పూర్తైందని, దక్షిణ భాగానికి కేంద్ర మంత్రివర్గ ఆమోదం అవసరమని తెలిపారు. మూసీ పునరుజ్జీవన పనులకు అర్బన్ ఛాలెంజ్ ఫండ్ కింద కేంద్ర అనుమతి లేఖ త్వరితగతిన రావాల్సి ఉందన్నారు.
గోదావరి–కావేరి నదుల అనుసంధానం, తుంగభద్ర జలాల వినియోగం, ఉమ్మడి రాష్ట్రంలో ప్రారంభమైన ప్రాజెక్టులకు అవసరమైన నిరభ్యంతర పత్రాలు (ఎన్వోసీలు), తుమ్మిడిహెట్టి ప్రాజెక్టు, బుల్లెట్ రైలు ప్రాజెక్టులు, ఆదిలాబాద్ మరియు వరంగల్ విమానాశ్రయాల అభివృద్ధి వంటి అంశాలపైనా ఎంపీలు కేంద్రంతో సమన్వయం చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి సూచించారు.
ఈ సమావేశంలో ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి భట్టి విక్రమార్క, మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి, ప్రభుత్వ సలహాదారు జితేందర్ రెడ్డి, పలువురు పార్లమెంట్ సభ్యులు మరియు ఉన్నతాధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy chaired a meeting with Members of Parliament from the state at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Praja Bhavan in Hyderabad. He urged all MPs to work together beyond political differences to secure the state’s long-pending development projects and approvals from the Central Government.
Ahead of the Parliament session beginning on the 20th of this month, the Chief Minister presented a detailed PowerPoint presentation highlighting pending proposals related to irrigation, infrastructure, higher education, transport and inter-state water issues.
He requested MPs to pursue Central approvals for establishing an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Hyderabad, expansion of Hyderabad Metro Phase-II, Regional Ring Road works, Musi River rejuvenation, and other strategic infrastructure projects. He also asked them to coordinate with the concerned Union Ministers to expedite approvals.
The Chief Minister briefed MPs on issues related to Tungabhadra water allocation, Godavari–Cauvery river linking, pending No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for projects initiated during the undivided state, the Tummidihatti project, bullet train alignments, and development of Adilabad and Warangal airports with MRO and air cargo facilities.
He reiterated that the Telangana Government is cooperating with the Centre solely in the interest of the state’s development. He also informed the MPs that an IAS officer has been designated at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi to facilitate coordination and provide necessary information regarding pending Central issues.
