హైదరాబాద్‌: తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులు, ఉపాధ్యాయులకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం రెండు పెండింగ్‌ డీఏ విడతలను మంజూరు చేస్తూ ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేసింది. 2024 జనవరి, 2024 జూలై నుంచి అమల్లోకి వచ్చే డీఏ పెంపులను ప్రభుత్వం ఖరారు చేసింది.
2020 పే స్కేల్‌ కింద ఉన్న ఉద్యోగులకు 2024 జనవరి నుంచి డీఏను 33.67 శాతం నుంచి 37.31 శాతానికి పెంచారు. 2024 జూలై నుంచి మరో 2.73 శాతం పెంపుతో డీఏ 40.04 శాతానికి చేరింది.
2015 పే స్కేల్‌ ఉద్యోగులకు డీఏ 73.344 శాతం నుంచి 78.06 శాతానికి, అనంతరం 2024 జూలై నుంచి 81.728 శాతానికి పెరిగింది. యూజీసీ, ఏఐసీటీఈ తదితర పే స్కేళ్లకు సంబంధించిన ఉద్యోగులకు కూడా తాజా ఉత్తర్వుల ప్రకారం డీఏ ప్రయోజనం వర్తించనుంది.
పెంచిన డీఏను అక్టోబర్‌ 2026 జీతంతో కలిపి నవంబర్‌ 1న నగదు రూపంలో చెల్లించనున్నట్లు తెలంగాణ టుడే నివేదించింది. 2024 జనవరి నుంచి 2026 సెప్టెంబర్‌ వరకు ఉన్న మొదటి విడత బకాయిలను 33 వాయిదాల్లో, 2024 జూలై నుంచి 2026 సెప్టెంబర్‌ వరకు ఉన్న రెండో విడత బకాయిలను 27 వాయిదాల్లో చెల్లించనున్నట్లు తెలిపింది. బకాయిలను ఉద్యోగుల జనరల్‌ ప్రావిడెంట్‌ ఫండ్‌ ఖాతాల్లో జమ చేయనున్నారు.
జనవరి 2024 విడత డీఏ పెంపు 3.64 శాతం కాగా, జూలై 2024 విడత పెంపు 2.73 శాతంగా ఉంది. రెండు విడతల వల్ల రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ ఖజానాపై సంవత్సరానికి సుమారు రూ.3,057 కోట్ల అదనపు భారం పడుతుందని తెలంగాణ టుడే పేర్కొంది.
ఈ నిర్ణయంతో దీర్ఘకాలంగా పెండింగ్‌లో ఉన్న డీఏల్లో రెండు విడతలకు సంబంధించిన చెల్లింపులకు ప్రభుత్వం మార్గం సుగమం చేసింది. ఉద్యోగుల వేతనాల్లో పెరిగిన డీఏ అమలుతో పాటు గత కాలానికి సంబంధించిన బకాయిల చెల్లింపుపై కూడా స్పష్టత వచ్చింది.

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has issued orders sanctioning two pending instalments of Dearness Allowance for government employees and teachers. The revisions relate to DA due from January 2024 and July 2024.
For employees covered by the 2020 pay scale, DA has been increased from 33.67 per cent to 37.31 per cent with effect from January 2024. A further 2.73 per cent increase from July 2024 takes the DA rate to 40.04 per cent.
For employees covered by the 2015 pay scale, DA has been revised from 73.344 per cent to 78.06 per cent and subsequently to 81.728 per cent from July 2024. Employees covered by UGC and AICTE pay scales and other eligible categories will also receive the revised DA benefits under the orders.
The revised DA will be paid in cash along with the October 2026 salary, payable on November 1, according to Telangana Today. Arrears for the period from January 2024 to September 2026 will be credited in 33 instalments, while arrears for July 2024 to September 2026 will be credited in 27 instalments to employees’ General Provident Fund accounts.
The January 2024 DA revision amounts to an increase of 3.64 percentage points, while the July 2024 revision adds another 2.73 percentage points. The two instalments are expected to impose an additional annual burden of around Rs 3,057 crore on the state exchequer, Telangana Today reported.
The decision provides clarity on two of the pending DA instalments and the associated arrears for Telangana government employees. The revised rates and payment schedule will provide employees with both the enhanced monthly DA and a defined mechanism for settling the accumulated arrears.
