Rome, May 21: Narendra Modi and Giorgia Meloni held high-level bilateral talks in Rome, during which India and Italy decided to elevate their relationship to a “Special Strategic Partnership.”

The two leaders reviewed progress under the India-Italy Joint Strategy Action Plan 2025-2029 and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation across multiple sectors.
