Political tensions in Telangana intensified after senior BRS leader T. Harish Rao criticised the Congress government over its spending priorities. Speaking in Hyderabad, he alleged that significant funds were being spent on publicity initiatives and infrastructure linked to official establishments while welfare-related allocations were facing delays.
Harish Rao questioned the government’s priorities and argued that public welfare schemes should receive greater attention. He claimed that the administration needed to provide clarity on fund allocations, welfare implementation and expenditure decisions affecting various sections of society.
