Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the nationwide “GenZ Against Addiction – Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan,” which witnessed massive participation across the country. More than one crore youth joined the campaign from over 28,000 locations, reaffirming their commitment to building a drug-free India.

Students, teachers, parents, School Management Committees (SMCs), and local communities participated in the initiative by taking the Nasha Mukt Bharat Pledge. The pledge emphasised staying away from drugs, tobacco, and other addictive substances while promoting a healthy and responsible lifestyle.

Addressing the campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that achieving the vision of a Viksit Bharat requires a physically fit, mentally strong, and self-confident young generation that remains free from drug addiction.
