All Transport Checkposts in Telangana Ordered to Close Immediately — Commissioner Acts on CM’s Directive
తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో రవాణా శాఖ పరిధిలో ఉన్న అన్ని చెక్పోస్టులను తక్షణమే మూసివేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఆదేశించడంతో, రవాణా కమిషనర్ రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న డీటీఓలకు తక్షణ ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు.
Following the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s order to shut down all transport department checkposts across Telangana, the Transport Commissioner has issued instructions to all District Transport Officers (DTOs) for immediate implementation.
ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఆదేశాల మేరకు, ప్రతి జిల్లాలోని రవాణా అధికారులను చెక్పోస్టుల వద్ద ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న బోర్డులు, బారికేడ్లను తొలగించి, “చెక్పోస్ట్ మూసివేయబడింది” అనే కొత్త బోర్డులను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని సూచించారు. సిబ్బందిని తక్షణమే ఉపసంహరించుకోవాలని కూడా ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు.
As per the directives, all DTOs are instructed to personally oversee the removal of existing boards and barricades at checkposts and replace them with new signboards stating “Checkpost Closed.” The officers were also directed to withdraw all staff from duty at these locations without delay.
చెక్పోస్టుల వద్ద ఉన్న రికార్డులు, ఫర్నీచర్, కంప్యూటర్లు మరియు ఇతర వస్తువులను సంబంధిత డీటీఓ కార్యాలయాలకు తరలించాలని, పరిపాలనా రికార్డులు మరియు ఆర్థిక పత్రాలను భద్రంగా ఉంచాలని కమిషనర్ ఆదేశించారు. ఈ మొత్తం తొలగింపు చర్యను వీడియో రూపంలో భద్రపరచాలని సూచించారు.
The Commissioner further instructed that all records, furniture, computers, and other materials from checkposts be shifted to the respective DTO offices, and administrative as well as financial records be safely secured. The removal process must be recorded on video for documentation.
ఇంతకాలం చెక్పోస్టులు ఉన్న ప్రాంతాల్లో వాహనాల రాకపోకలకు ఎలాంటి అడ్డంకులు లేకుండా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని, అలాగే సిబ్బందిని తిరిగి నియమించిన వివరాలు, రికార్డు భద్రపరిచిన సమాచారం, చెక్పోస్టుల మూసివేత స్థితిగతులపై ఈరోజు సాయంత్రం 5 గంటలలోపు నివేదిక సమర్పించాలని ఆదేశాల్లో పేర్కొన్నారు.
The directive also emphasized ensuring smooth vehicle movement at the former checkpost locations, with no hindrance to traffic. DTOs have been told to submit a detailed report by 5 p.m. today confirming the closure of checkposts, redeployment of staff, and secure preservation of all records.
