దీపావళికి ముందు బంగారం ధరలు మరోసారి పెరిగాయి. Gold prices have surged again ahead of the festive season.
ధనత్రయోదశి, దీపావళి సమీపిస్తున్న వేళ బంగారం కొనుగోళ్లు శుభప్రదంగా భావిస్తారు. అయితే ధరలు భారీగా పెరగడంతో వినియోగదారుల్లో సందేహాలు నెలకొన్నాయి. దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఇవాళ కూడా పసిడి రేట్లు పెరుగుదలతో కొనసాగాయి.
తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల ముఖ్య నగరాలైన హైదరాబాద్, విజయవాడ, విశాఖపట్నంలో 24 క్యారెట్ల 10 గ్రాముల బంగారం ధర రూ.1,370 పెరిగి రూ.1,20,770కి చేరింది. 22 క్యారెట్ల 10 గ్రాముల ధర రూ.1,250 పెరిగి రూ.1,10,700గా ఉంది. ఢిల్లీలో 24 క్యారెట్ల బంగారం 10 గ్రాముల ధర రూ.1,20,920, 22 క్యారెట్ల ధర రూ.1,10,850కి పెరిగింది. ముంబైలో కూడా ఇదే స్థాయిలో ధరలు నమోదు అయ్యాయి.
వడ్డీ రేట్ల అనిశ్చితి, కరెన్సీ మార్పులు, గ్లోబల్ మార్కెట్లో సురక్షిత పెట్టుబడులపై డిమాండ్ పెరగడం ధరల ఎగసిపడటానికి కారణమని నిపుణులు చెబుతున్నారు. బంగారం కొనేటప్పుడు హాల్మార్క్, మేకింగ్ చార్జీలు పరిశీలించాలని సూచిస్తున్నారు.
వెండి ధరలు కూడా పెరిగాయి. హైదరాబాద్, విజయవాడ, విశాఖల్లో కిలో వెండి ధర ఇవాళ రూ.1,000 పెరిగి రూ.1,66,000కి చేరింది. ఢిల్లీ, ముంబైలో కిలో వెండి ధర రూ.1,56,000గా ఉంది.
As Dhanteras and Diwali approach, gold buying is considered auspicious across households. But with prices rising steeply, buyers are showing concern. Gold rates continued to climb across the country today as well.
In Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold rose by ₹1,370 to ₹1,20,770. The 22-carat rate for 10 grams increased by ₹1,250 to ₹1,10,700. In Delhi, the price reached ₹1,20,920 for 24-carat and ₹1,10,850 for 22-carat. Mumbai recorded similar prices.
Experts attribute the spike to uncertainty over US interest rates, global currency fluctuations and rising demand for safe-haven assets. Buyers are advised to check hallmark certification and making charges at local stores, as final prices may vary.
Silver prices also moved up. In Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam, the rate per kilo climbed by ₹1,000 to ₹1,66,000. In Delhi and Mumbai, the kilo price reached ₹1,56,000.
