పాలమూరు అభివృద్ధికి పాలమూరు బిడ్డల భాగస్వామ్యం కీలకమని, కానీ గతంలో వారికి న్యాయం జరగలేదని సిఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అన్నారు.

మహబూబ్నగర్ జిల్లా మూసపేటలో పర్యటించిన సిఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రజాసభలో మాట్లాడారు. పాలమూరు జిల్లా ఒకప్పుడు వలసలకు మారుపేరు అని గుర్తుచేశారు. చదువు, నీళ్లు లేమితో ప్రజలు వలసలు వెళ్లారని పేర్కొన్నారు. కృష్ణా జలాలు పక్కగా వెళ్లినా తాగునీరు, సాగునీటి సమస్యలు పరిష్కారం కాలేదని చెప్పారు. తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమంలో పాలమూరు ప్రజలు అండగా నిలిచినా, మహబూబ్నగర్ నుంచి ఎంపిగా గెలిపించినా కెసిఆర్ జిల్లా ప్రజలకు సముచిత న్యాయం చేయలేదని విమర్శించారు.
గత ప్రభుత్వంలో పలు ప్రాజెక్టులు పూర్తి కాలేదని, పేరుకే పాలమూరు యూనివర్సిటీ ఉన్నా పిజి కాలేజీ స్థాయిలోనే ఉందని ఆయన అన్నారు. చదువు, ఉపాధి, నీటిపారుదల రంగాల్లో జిల్లాను అభివృద్ధి చేయాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని పేర్కొన్నారు. జిల్లాకు ట్రిపుల్ ఐటీ మంజూరు చేసినట్టు, 14 అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గాల్లో యంగ్ ఇండియా స్కూళ్లను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నట్టు తెలిపారు. నిరుద్యోగులకు ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు కల్పించే వేదికగా పాలమూరు ఎదగనుందని సిఎం రేవంత్ స్పష్టం చేశారు.

During his tour in Moosapet, Mahabubnagar district, CM Revanth addressed a public meeting. He recalled that Palamuru was once synonymous with migration, as people had to leave the region due to lack of education and drinking water. Even though Krishna waters flow nearby, the district continued to face drinking and irrigation water issues. He alleged that despite Palamuru’s strong support to the Telangana movement, and even electing KCR as MP from Mahabubnagar, the district did not get its rightful share.
Revanth criticized the previous government for leaving several projects incomplete. He pointed out that Palamuru University exists only in name and functions like a PG college. He stressed the need to develop the district in education, employment, and irrigation sectors. The CM announced that a Triple IT has been sanctioned for the district and that Young India Schools will be set up in all 14 Assembly constituencies. He further said Palamuru will soon become a hub for employment opportunities for the youth.
