పేదలకు ఇచ్చే పెన్షన్ దానం కాదని, అది ప్రభుత్వ బాధ్యత అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు తెలిపారు. Pensions given to the poor, elderly and differently-abled are not charity but the duty of the government, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu underlined.

అన్నమయ్య జిల్లా రాజంపేట నియోజకవర్గంలోని బోయనపల్లెలో పింఛన్ల పంపిణీ కార్యక్రమంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా మాట్లాడుతూ, 1983లో ఎన్టీఆర్ వితంతువులకు మరియు పేదలకు రూ.30తో పెన్షన్ పథకాన్ని ప్రారంభించారని గుర్తు చేశారు. ప్రస్తుతం అర్హులైన వారికి రూ.4,000 పెన్షన్, దివ్యాంగులకు రూ.6,000 నుండి రూ.15,000 వరకూ పెన్షన్ అందిస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు. అర్హులకు మాత్రమే సంక్షేమ పథకాలు చేరాలని, ప్రభుత్వ సంపద పేదలకే పంచాలని ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు.

He said the TDP government had increased pensions manifold compared to previous regimes and would ensure only eligible beneficiaries received support. Criticising the past YSRCP government, he alleged that even ineligible persons had been given pensions, denying rightful benefits to genuine beneficiaries.

చంద్రబాబు మాట్లాడుతూ, రాయలసీమలో సాగునీటిని తీసుకురావడంలో, మౌలిక వసతులు అభివృద్ధి చేయడంలో ప్రభుత్వం కృషి చేస్తోందని తెలిపారు. గత పాలకుల కాలంలో రక్తపాతం, విధ్వంసం జరిగినా, తాము రాయలసీమను రత్నాల సీమగా మార్చేందుకు కట్టుబడి ఉన్నామని అన్నారు.

He challenged the YSRCP to come to the Assembly and debate on development, welfare, and law and order issues. He said his government’s focus would remain on creating wealth and delivering welfare simultaneously, without burdening the state with debt.

తన పర్యటనలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి వికలాంగులకు నేరుగా పెన్షన్ అందజేశారు. గ్రామ ప్రజలతో కలసి వారి సమస్యలు విని పరిష్కారానికి హామీ ఇచ్చారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పలువురు మంత్రులు, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు, ప్రజా ప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
