ఉపరాష్ట్రపతి పదవికి ఇండియా కూటమి అభ్యర్థిగా నిలిచిన జస్టిస్ సుదర్శన్ రెడ్డికి మద్దతు ఇవ్వాలని తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల నాయకులకు విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. రాజకీయ విభేదాలను పక్కన పెట్టి, తెలుగువాడిని ఉపరాష్ట్రపతిగా గెలిపించుకునే అవకాశం ఇది అని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు, ఉపముఖ్యమంత్రి పవన్ కల్యాణ్, మాజీ ముఖ్యమంత్రులు కేసీఆర్, జగన్, మజ్లిస్ పార్టీ అధినేత అసదుద్దీన్ ఒవైసీకి విజ్ఞప్తి చేస్తున్నానని రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అన్నారు. రాజకీయ భిన్నాభిప్రాయాలను పక్కనబెట్టి సుదర్శన్ రెడ్డికి మద్దతివ్వాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
హైదరాబాద్లో జస్టిస్ సుదర్శన్ రెడ్డితో కలిసి నిర్వహించిన మీడియా సమావేశంలో మాట్లాడిన ఆయన, రాజ్యాంగ పరిరక్షణ కోసం ఈ ఎన్నిక అత్యంత కీలకమని పేర్కొన్నారు. రాజ్యాంగాన్ని మార్చి రిజర్వేషన్లు రద్దు చేయాలనే ఉద్దేశంతో ఎన్డీయే అభ్యర్థిని నిలబెట్టిందని విమర్శించారు. అందుకే ప్రజాస్వామ్యాన్ని కాపాడే సంకల్పంతో ఇండియా కూటమి సుదర్శన్ రెడ్డిని అభ్యర్థిగా ప్రకటించిందని చెప్పారు.
ఎన్నికలు, రాజకీయాలు, వివాదాలపై ఎప్పుడైనా మాట్లాడుకోవచ్చని, కానీ ఉపరాష్ట్రపతి స్థానానికి తెలుగువాడిని గెలిపించుకునే అవకాశం వచ్చినందున అందరూ మద్దతివ్వాలని రేవంత్ రెడ్డి పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy urged leaders of both Telugu states to support Justice Sudarshan Reddy, who is in the fray as the INDIA bloc candidate for Vice President. He said this is an opportunity to elect a Telugu leader as Vice President, setting aside political differences.
Revanth Reddy said he is appealing to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, former CMs KCR and Jagan, and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi. He called on them to put aside political disagreements and extend support to Sudarshan Reddy.
Speaking at a media meet in Hyderabad along with Justice Sudarshan Reddy, Revanth said this election is very crucial for the protection of the Constitution. He criticized that the NDA had fielded its candidate with the agenda of amending the Constitution and removing reservations. That is why, he explained, the INDIA bloc had announced Sudarshan Reddy as its candidate with the objective of safeguarding democracy.
He added that elections, politics, and controversies can always be discussed, but since a Telugu person has now got the opportunity to become Vice President, all parties should come together and support him.
