Chagalamarri
As part of the TB Mukt Bharat initiative, an awareness program was conducted at Brahmanapalle village in Chagalamarri mandal. Officials explained that individuals experiencing symptoms like recurring evening fevers, severe cough, loss of appetite, and sudden weight loss should undergo TB screening. If diagnosed with TB, free medication will be provided for six months. They further highlighted that people with diabetes, smokers, and alcohol consumers are at a higher risk of contracting TB and passing it to their family members, hence they must get tested without delay. Health Supervisor Ramalinga Reddy, MLHP Hussain, ANM Narsamma, and ASHA worker Vijayalakshmi participated in this program.
