కృష్ణా–గోదావరి నదుల్లో నీళ్లు నిండగా, కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం ఎత్తిపోక చర్యలు చేపట్టక రైతులను, ప్రజలను కష్టాల్లోకి నెట్టేసిందని కేటీఆర్ విమర్శించారు. With Krishna and Godavari rivers flowing full, KTR blamed the Congress government for failing to lift water and pushing people into a drinking and irrigation crisis.
తెలంగాణలో నీటి సంక్షోభం రోజురోజుకూ తీవ్రంగా మారుతోంది. పల్లెల్లో సాగునీళ్లు లేక విత్తిన పొలాలు ఎండిపోతుండగా, పట్టణాల్లో తాగునీళ్లు లేక ప్రజలు అవస్థలు పడుతున్నారు. ఈ పరిస్థితిపై బీఆర్ఎస్ నేత కేటీఆర్ సోషల్ మీడియా X వేదికగా తీవ్రంగా స్పందించారు.
“నాడు ఇంటింటికీ నల్లా నీళ్లు… నేడు సాగు, తాగునీళ్లు లేక జనం కన్నీళ్లు,” అంటూ కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వ పాలనపై విమర్శల వర్షం కురిపించారు. కృష్ణా, గోదావరి నదుల్లో నీరు ఉన్నప్పటికీ వాటిని ఎత్తిపోకపోవడాన్ని ఆయన సూటిగా ఎత్తిచూపారు.
కేటీఆర్ ఆరోపించినట్లు, పాలమూరు-రంగారెడ్డి ప్రాజెక్టు పనులను ఆపివేయడం, కాళేశ్వరం గేట్లను తెరిచిపెట్టడం వల్ల నీటి నిల్వలు గణనీయంగా తగ్గిపోయాయని పేర్కొన్నారు. చెరువులు, కుంటలు, రిజర్వాయర్లు వెలవెలబోతుండటమే ప్రభుత్వం మోసానికి నిదర్శనమని చెప్పారు.
బోర్లు అడుగంటుతున్నాయని, పొలాలు సాగుకు పనికిరాక నష్టపోతున్నాయని, వ్యవసాయానికే కాదు వ్యక్తిగత అవసరాలకూ నీరు లేక ప్రజలు పస్తులు ఉంటున్నారని ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. నీటి కోసం ప్రజలు అధికారులకు ట్యాంకర్ల కోసం ఎన్నిసార్లు ఫోన్ చేసినా స్పందన లేదని ఆరోపించారు.
ప్రభుత్వ నిర్వాహక లోపాల కారణంగా రోజుకి ఎనిమిది వేల ట్యాంకర్లకు డిమాండ్ వచ్చిందని, ఇది పాలన పతనాన్ని సూచిస్తోందన్నారు. ఈ దురవస్థకు కాంగ్రెస్ పాలన కారణమని, ఇది ప్రజలకు శాపంగా మారిందన్నారు.
“జాగో తెలంగాణ జాగో” అంటూ కేటీఆర్ తన పోస్ట్ను ముగించారు.
In a strongly worded post on social media platform X, BRS leader K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) slammed the Congress government in Telangana for creating a severe water crisis. He said that while rivers Krishna and Godavari are full, the administration has failed to lift water, leaving both villages without irrigation water and cities without drinking water.
“Once, every household had tap water. Now, people are left with tears,” he remarked. He alleged that by halting the Palamuru-Rangareddy project and opening the Kaleshwaram gates, the government caused depletion of reservoirs, tanks, and village ponds.
KTR claimed that borewells are drying up and farmlands are withering due to lack of water. He criticized officials for not responding to repeated calls from citizens and highlighted that there’s now a demand for 8,000 tankers daily, exposing the collapse of public service systems.
Calling it a result of administrative failure and policy negligence, he warned that what started as the Congress’s mistake is now a curse upon the people. He ended his post with the slogan: “Jaago Telangana Jaago” (Wake up, Telangana).
