తెలంగాణకు జాతీయ, అంతర్జాతీయ క్రీడా పోటీలు నిర్వహించే అవకాశం ఇవ్వాలి: సీఎం రేవంత్ — CM Revanth Reddy Urges Union Minister Mandaviya for Telangana’s Sporting Future
తెలంగాణకు ఖేలో ఇండియా, నేషనల్ గేమ్స్ వంటి ప్రతిష్టాత్మక క్రీడా పోటీలకు ఆతిథ్యాన్ని ఇవ్వాలని కేంద్ర క్రీడల శాఖ మంత్రిని సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కోరారు. న్యూఢిల్లీలో కేంద్ర మంత్రి మాండవీయాతో జరిగిన సమావేశంలో ఈ విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. రాష్ట్రంలో క్రీడాకారులకు శిక్షణ, మౌలిక సదుపాయాల అభివృద్ధికి ఖేలో ఇండియా పథకం కింద నిధులు కేటాయించాలని సీఎం స్పష్టం చేశారు.
In New Delhi, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met Union Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and requested that Telangana be given the opportunity to host major national and international sporting events, including Khelo India Games and the 40th National Games. He also urged the Centre to allocate funds under the Khelo India scheme for athlete training and sports infrastructure in the state.
రాష్ట్ర క్రీడాకారులకు మరింత ప్రోత్సాహం కల్పించడానికి గతంలో మాదిరిగానే రైల్వే ఛార్జీలపై రాయితీ పునరుద్ధరించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి విన్నవించారు. తెలంగాణను క్రీడల కేంద్రంగా అభివృద్ధి చేయాలనే లక్ష్యంతో రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం పలు కార్యక్రమాలను చేపట్టుతోందని తెలిపారు.
The Chief Minister further appealed for the restoration of railway travel concessions for athletes participating in national tournaments, to ensure better support and encouragement for sportspersons from Telangana.
