గోదావరి నదిలో వరద ఉద్ధృతి పెరుగుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో పాపికొండల విహారయాత్రలను తాత్కాలికంగా నిలిపివేస్తున్నట్టు జలవనరులశాఖ వెల్లడించింది. నీటిమట్టం పెరుగుతున్న పరిస్థితిని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని, ప్రయాణికుల భద్రతను ప్రాధాన్యంగా తీసుకుని ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.

In view of increasing flood intensity in the Godavari river, the Water Resources Department has temporarily suspended the popular Papikondalu boat trips. Authorities cited passenger safety as the primary reason behind the precautionary move.

ఈ నెలలో వర్షపాతం ఎక్కువగా ఉండటంతో గోదావరిలో వరద ప్రవాహం అనూహ్యంగా పెరుగుతోంది. దీంతో యాత్రపై ముందస్తు హెచ్చరికలు జారీ చేసిన ప్రభుత్వం, బోటు సేవలను తాత్కాలికంగా నిలిపివేయాలని సూచించింది. తదుపరి యాత్ర ప్రారంభ తేదీని త్వరలోనే వెల్లడించనున్నట్లు అధికారులు స్పష్టం చేశారు.

Due to heavy rainfall in the region this month, the Godavari river is witnessing an unexpected surge in water levels. The government issued precautionary advisories and recommended halting all boating services for now. Officials have assured that the resumption date for the Papikondalu tour will be announced soon.
