మాజీ సీఎం కేసీఆర్ వాసాలమర్రి గ్రామాన్ని దత్తత తీసుకుని అభివృద్ధి చేస్తానని చెప్పి అబద్ధపు హామీలు ఇచ్చాడని, ఆ గ్రామాన్ని పూర్తిగా నిర్లక్ష్యం చేశాడని రాష్ట్ర రెవెన్యూ శాఖ మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి మండిపడ్డారు. ప్రభుత్వ సొమ్ముతో భోజనం చేసి, గ్రామస్తుల నమ్మకాన్ని వాడుకున్నాడని విమర్శించారు.
తుర్కపల్లి మండలంలోని వాసాలమర్రి గ్రామంలో 227 మంది లబ్ధిదారులకు ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్ల ప్రొసీడింగ్ ఉత్తర్వులను మంత్రి పొంగులేటి అందజేశారు. ఆకుల ఆగవ్వకు మొదటి ఇంటి పత్రాన్ని స్వయంగా మంత్రి అందించగా, స్థానిక ఎమ్మెల్యే బీర్ల ఐలయ్య లక్ష రూపాయల నగదును అందించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా మంత్రి మాట్లాడుతూ, “వాసాలమర్రిని అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఆదేశించారు. కేసీఆర్ ఆగం చేసిన గ్రామాన్ని ఇప్పుడు రేవంత్ ఆదుకుంటున్నాడు” అని చెప్పారు. వాసాలమర్రిని రోల్ మోడల్ గ్రామంగా అభివృద్ధి చేస్తామన్నారు.
ఇకపోతే కేసీఆర్ రూ.8.19 లక్షల కోట్లు అప్పు చేసి రాష్ట్రాన్ని ఆర్థికంగా కుంగదీసాడని, కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతినెల రూ.6500 కోట్లు వడ్డీ చెల్లిస్తున్నప్పటికీ వాగ్దానాలను నెరవేర్చుతోందని చెప్పారు. గ్యాస్, ఉచిత ఆర్టీసీ, కొత్త రేషన్ కార్డులు, రాజీవ్ ఆరోగ్యశ్రీ వంటి పథకాలు అమలవుతున్నాయని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ధరణితో ఇబ్బందులు పడ్డ రైతుల కోసం భూభారతి చట్టాన్ని తీసుకువచ్చామన్నారు. కేసీఆర్ ధరణితో భూములు ఖతం అయ్యాయని విమర్శించారు. ఆగస్టు లోపు భూసమస్యలన్నింటినీ పరిష్కరిస్తామని హామీ ఇచ్చారు. రాష్ట్రంలో సర్వేయర్ల వ్యవస్థను మెరుగుపరచడానికి లైసెన్స్‌డ్ సర్వేయర్లను నియమిస్తున్నామన్నారు.
ఎన్నికల ముందు బొమ్మలు చూపించుకొని ఓట్లు వేయించుకున్న కేసీఆర్ ఒక్క ఇంటి నిర్మాణం కూడా చేయలేదని మంత్రి పొంగులేటి విమర్శించారు.

Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri, June 20:
Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy strongly criticized former CM KCR, accusing him of using Vasalamarri village for selfish political gain without fulfilling his promises.
Speaking at a government program in Vasalamarri, Ponguleti distributed Indiramma housing proceedings to 227 beneficiaries. He said CM Revanth Reddy had directed officials to prioritize development in the village, which was previously “neglected” by KCR despite being adopted.
The Minister stated that the Congress government is fulfilling its pre-poll promises even while handling severe debt left by the previous regime. “KCR took loans worth ₹8.19 lakh crore. Now we’re paying ₹6,500 crore monthly but still delivering on promises,” he said.
He announced that 20 lakh Indiramma houses worth ₹22,500 crore are being built statewide. On land issues, he said Bhuharathi law was introduced to resolve grievances caused by Dharani portal, which allegedly complicated ownership verification under KCR.
MLA Beerla Ilayya added that CM Revanth is healing the wounds caused by KCR’s neglect of Vasalamarri. “What KCR turned into a graveyard, Revanth is turning into a model village,” he said.
