రంపచోడవరం మండలం పరిధిలోని అల్లూరి అడవుల్లో పోలీసులకు, మావోయిస్టులకు మధ్య జరిగిన ఎన్కౌంటర్లో ముగ్గురు మావోయిస్టులు హతమయ్యారు. ఈ ఘటన మంగళవారం ఉదయం చోటుచేసుకున్నట్లు పోలీసులు వెల్లడించారు.
ఎన్కౌంటర్లో మావోయిస్టు సెంట్రల్ కమిటీ సభ్యుడు ఉదయ్, జోనల్ కమిటీ సభ్యురాలు అరుణ మృతిచెందారని సమాచారం. వీరితో పాటు మరో మావోయిస్టు కూడా కాల్పుల్లో హతమైనట్టు తెలుస్తోంది. ఘటనా స్థలంలో మృతదేహాలు గుర్తించిన పోలీసులు, మూడు ఏకే-47 రైఫిల్స్‌ను స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు.
ఈ ఘటన నేపథ్యంలో అదనపు బలగాలు మోవ్ చేయబడ్డాయి. ఎన్‌కౌంటర్ ప్రాంతాన్ని పూర్తిగా ముట్టడి చేయడంతో పాటు మావోయిస్టుల గుట్టు బట్టకట్టే దిశగా పోలీసులు దర్యాప్తు కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు.

Alluri district, Rampachodavaram forest – June 18
A fierce encounter between police forces and Maoists took place in the forests near Rampachodavaram, Alluri district. In the gunfight, three Maoists were reportedly killed, including top Maoist leader Uday (Central Committee member) and Aruna (Zonal Committee member).
Police recovered three AK-47 rifles from the spot. A third unidentified Maoist was also killed. The area has been cordoned off, and special forces are continuing combing operations to locate any remaining cadres and investigate further links.
