తెలంగాణలోని ప్రతి కుటుంబానికి రూ.5 లక్షల జీవిత బీమా కల్పించే ఇందిరమ్మ కుటుంబ జీవిత బీమా పథకాన్ని ప్రారంభించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అధ్యక్షతన జరిగిన రాష్ట్ర మంత్రిమండలి సమావేశం నిర్ణయించింది. దీంతోపాటు ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్ల లబ్ధిదారులతో రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా దీపావళి వేడుకలు నిర్వహించడం, ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీలకు వేర్వేరు కమిషన్లు ఏర్పాటు చేయడం సహా పలు కీలక నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకుంది.
డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేద్కర్ తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర సచివాలయంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అధ్యక్షతన మంత్రిమండలి సమావేశం జరిగింది. ఈ సమావేశంలో రాష్ట్ర ప్రజలకు సంబంధించిన పలు సంక్షేమ, పరిపాలనాపరమైన అంశాలపై చర్చించి నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకున్నారు.
ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్ల లబ్ధిదారులతో దీపావళి వేడుకలు
రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ఇప్పటికే 2,25,000 ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్ల నిర్మాణం పూర్తయిన నేపథ్యంలో ‘మా ఇందిరమ్మ ఇంట్లో దీపావళి’ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ఘనంగా నిర్వహించాలని కేబినెట్ నిర్ణయించింది. మంత్రులు, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు తమ తమ నియోజకవర్గాల్లో ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్ల లబ్ధిదారులతో కలిసి దీపావళి వేడుకల్లో పాల్గొనాలని సూచించింది.

రాష్ట్రంలోని ప్రతి కుటుంబానికి రూ.5 లక్షల జీవిత బీమా కల్పించే ఇందిరమ్మ కుటుంబ జీవిత బీమా పథకాన్ని ప్రారంభించేందుకు మంత్రిమండలి ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. ఈ పథకం కోసం నవంబర్ 20 నుంచి 30 వరకు గ్రామాల్లో దరఖాస్తులను సేకరించాలని నిర్ణయించింది.
నవంబర్ 19న సిద్దిపేటలో ఇందిరా గాంధీ జయంతి సభ
మాజీ ప్రధానమంత్రి ఇందిరా గాంధీ జయంతిని పురస్కరించుకుని నవంబర్ 19న సిద్దిపేటలో భారీ బహిరంగ సభ నిర్వహించాలని కేబినెట్ నిర్ణయించింది. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఇందిరమ్మ చీరల పంపిణీ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రారంభించనున్నారు.
ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీలకు వేర్వేరు కమిషన్లు
ప్రస్తుతం రాష్ట్రంలో కొనసాగుతున్న ఉమ్మడి ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ కమిషన్‌ను రద్దు చేసి, రెండు వేర్వేరు కమిషన్లు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని మంత్రిమండలి తీర్మానించింది. ఇందుకు సంబంధించి తెలంగాణ స్టేట్ కమిషన్ ఫర్ షెడ్యూల్డ్ కాస్ట్స్ అండ్ షెడ్యూల్డ్ ట్రైబ్స్ యాక్ట్, 2003ను రద్దు చేసేందుకు ఆమోదం తెలిపింది.
ప్రతి కమిషన్‌లో ఒక చైర్మన్‌తో పాటు ఐదుగురు సభ్యులు ఉండేలా ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నారు. ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ వర్గాల నుంచి వచ్చే ఫిర్యాదులను వేగంగా పరిష్కరించేందుకు ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు మంత్రిమండలి పేర్కొంది.
ఫైర్ సర్వీస్ చట్టంలో సవరణలకు ఆమోదం
తెలంగాణ ఫైర్ సర్వీస్ యాక్ట్, 1999లో సవరణలకు సంబంధించిన ఆర్డినెన్స్ జారీకి కేబినెట్ ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. అగ్ని ప్రమాదాల నివారణ, ప్రమాదాలకు గల కారణాలను గుర్తించడం, అత్యవసర పరిస్థితుల్లో వేగంగా స్పందించడం వంటి అంశాలకు ప్రాధాన్యం ఇవ్వాలని నిర్ణయించింది.
ఇళ్లు, అపార్ట్‌మెంట్లు, షాపింగ్ కాంప్లెక్స్‌ల యజమానులు తీసుకోవాల్సిన భద్రతా జాగ్రత్తలు, అగ్నిమాపక శాఖ చేపట్టాల్సిన చర్యలను కొత్త నిబంధనల్లో పొందుపరచనున్నారు.
సర్వే, సరిహద్దుల చట్టంలో మార్పులు
తెలంగాణ సర్వే మరియు సరిహద్దుల చట్టం, 1923లోని సెక్షన్ 12(ఏ) సవరణ ప్రతిపాదనకు కూడా మంత్రిమండలి ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. సర్వే, సరిహద్దులకు సంబంధించి జారీ చేసే నోటీసులపై అప్పీల్ చేసుకునే గడువును ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న 60 రోజుల నుంచి 30 రోజులకు తగ్గించాలని నిర్ణయించింది.

The Telangana Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, has approved the launch of the Indiramma Family Life Insurance Scheme, providing life insurance coverage of ₹5 lakh to every family in the state. The meeting also decided to organise statewide Diwali celebrations with Indiramma Indlu beneficiaries and approved several administrative and legislative reforms.
The Cabinet meeting was held at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat, where ministers discussed and approved several decisions concerning public welfare and state administration.
Diwali Celebrations with Indiramma Indlu Beneficiaries
With the construction of 2,25,000 Indiramma houses already completed across Telangana, the Cabinet decided to organise the ‘Maa Indiramma Intlo Deepavali’ programme on a grand scale.
Ministers and MLAs will participate in the celebrations alongside Indiramma Indlu beneficiaries in their respective constituencies.
₹5 Lakh Life Insurance for Every Family
The Cabinet approved the launch of the Indiramma Family Life Insurance Scheme, under which every family in Telangana will receive life insurance coverage of ₹5 lakh.
Applications for the scheme will be collected in villages from November 20 to 30.
Indira Gandhi Birth Anniversary Meeting in Siddipet
The Cabinet decided to organise a large public meeting in Siddipet on November 19 to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
The distribution of Indiramma sarees will also be launched on the occasion.
Separate Commissions for SCs and STs
The Cabinet resolved to abolish the existing combined Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Commission and establish separate commissions for the two communities.
It approved the repeal of the Telangana State Commission for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Act, 2003, to facilitate the restructuring.
Each commission will have one chairperson and five members. The objective is to ensure faster resolution of complaints received from SC and ST communities.
Amendments to Telangana Fire Services Act
The Cabinet approved the issuance of an ordinance relating to amendments to the Telangana Fire Services Act, 1999.
The proposed changes will focus on fire prevention, identifying the causes of fire accidents and ensuring faster responses during emergencies.
The provisions will also cover safety precautions to be followed by owners of houses, apartments and shopping complexes, along with responsibilities of the Fire Services Department.
Changes to Survey and Boundaries Act
The Cabinet also approved a proposal to amend Section 12(A) of the Telangana Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.
Under the proposal, the time limit for filing appeals against notices issued in connection with surveys and boundaries will be reduced from 60 days to 30 days.
