హైదరాబాద్‌లోని హైటెక్స్‌లో నిర్వహించిన గ్లోబల్ బిజినెస్ సమ్మిట్‌ 2026 ప్రారంభోత్సవంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రసంగించారు. తెలంగాణను అత్యుత్తమ పారిశ్రామిక కేంద్రంగా తీర్చిదిద్దేందుకు యువత, మహిళలకు పారిశ్రామిక రంగంలో మరిన్ని అవకాశాలు కల్పించాలని ఆయన పిలుపునిచ్చారు. ముఖ్యంగా తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్‌ 2047 ప్రణాళికలో భాగంగా గుర్తించిన పెరి అర్బన్‌ రీజియన్‌లో స్టార్టప్‌లు, కొత్త పరిశ్రమలు స్థాపించేందుకు యువ పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలు ముందుకు రావాలని సూచించారు.
యువతకు ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా వస్తున్న సాంకేతిక మార్పులు, నూతన విధానాలు, చట్టాలపై అవగాహన కల్పించడంలో చాంబర్‌ ఆఫ్‌ కామర్స్‌ నిర్వహించే సదస్సులు కీలక పాత్ర పోషిస్తాయని సీఎం అన్నారు. వివిధ రంగాల నిపుణుల అనుభవాలను తెలుసుకోవడం ద్వారా యువ పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలకు ప్రయోజనం కలుగుతుందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్‌ 2047తో మూడు ప్రాంతీయ ఆర్థిక విభాగాలు
రాష్ట్రాన్ని 2047 నాటికి మూడు ట్రిలియన్‌ డాలర్ల ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థగా తీర్చిదిద్దాలన్న లక్ష్యంతో ప్రాంతాలవారీగా అభివృద్ధి ప్రణాళికలు రూపొందించినట్లు రేవంత్ రెడ్డి వివరించారు. హైదరాబాద్‌ ఔటర్‌ రింగ్‌ రోడ్‌ పరిధిలోని కోర్‌ అర్బన్‌ రీజియన్‌ (CURE)లో సేవా రంగానికి ప్రాధాన్యత ఇవ్వనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
ఔటర్‌ రింగ్‌ రోడ్‌ వెలుపల, రీజినల్‌ రింగ్‌ రోడ్‌ మధ్యనున్న సుమారు 10,500 చదరపు కిలోమీటర్ల ప్రాంతాన్ని పెరి అర్బన్‌ రీజియన్‌ ఎకానమీ (PURE)గా గుర్తించి, తయారీ పరిశ్రమల కేంద్రంగా అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని ప్రణాళిక రూపొందించినట్లు చెప్పారు.
రీజినల్‌ రింగ్‌ రోడ్‌ నుంచి రాష్ట్ర సరిహద్దుల వరకు ఉన్న ప్రాంతాన్ని రూరల్‌ అగ్రికల్చర్‌ రీజియన్‌ ఎకానమీ (RARE)గా అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకుందని వివరించారు.
పరిశ్రమల తరలింపునకు హిల్ట్‌ పాలసీ
హైదరాబాద్‌లో కాలుష్యాన్ని తగ్గించడంతో పాటు సేవా రంగాన్ని విస్తరించేందుకు కాలుష్యకారక పరిశ్రమలను నగరం వెలుపలికి తరలించే ప్రణాళికను ముఖ్యమంత్రి ప్రస్తావించారు. ఇందుకోసం పరిశ్రమలకు అవసరమైన అనుమతులు, రాయితీలు, ఇతర సహకారం అందించే ఉద్దేశంతో హిల్ట్‌ పాలసీని తీసుకొచ్చినట్లు తెలిపారు.
ఔటర్‌ రింగ్‌ రోడ్‌ హైదరాబాద్‌ అభివృద్ధికి కీలకంగా నిలిచిందని, మెరుగైన రవాణా అనుసంధానంతో ఐటీ, ఫార్మా, విద్య, సేవా రంగాలు విస్తరించాయని సీఎం పేర్కొన్నారు. ఇదే తరహాలో రీజినల్‌ రింగ్‌ రోడ్‌ కూడా రాష్ట్ర పారిశ్రామిక అభివృద్ధికి దోహదపడుతుందని ఆశాభావం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
మహిళా పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలకు ప్రోత్సాహం
ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా మహిళల ఆర్థిక భాగస్వామ్యం పెరిగిన ప్రాంతాలు పురోగతి సాధిస్తున్నాయని రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అన్నారు. తెలంగాణలోనూ మహిళా పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలను ప్రోత్సహించాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని, యువతకు సమాన అవకాశాలు కల్పించడం ద్వారా పారిశ్రామిక రంగంలో రాష్ట్రం మరింత అభివృద్ధి సాధించగలదని పేర్కొన్నారు.
కేవలం అంతర్జాతీయ సంస్థల్లో ఉద్యోగాలు పొందడమే కాకుండా, యువత సొంతంగా స్టార్టప్‌లు స్థాపించి పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలుగా ఎదగాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. పెట్టుబడిదారులు తెలంగాణలో పరిశ్రమలు స్థాపించి రాష్ట్ర అభివృద్ధిలో భాగస్వాములు కావాలని కోరారు.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has called for greater participation of youth and women in industrial development, stressing that their involvement is essential to making the state a leading industrial destination. He made the remarks while addressing the inaugural session of the Global Business Summit 2026 organised by Samakhya Chamber of Commerce at HITEX in Hyderabad.
The Chief Minister urged young entrepreneurs to take advantage of opportunities to establish startups and industries in the Peri-Urban Region Economy (PURE), identified under the Telangana Rising 2047 development vision.
He said business summits and industry associations could help young people understand global technological developments, emerging policies and legal changes while providing opportunities to learn from experienced professionals across sectors.
Telangana Rising 2047 and Regional Economic Development
Revanth Reddy outlined the state’s plan to develop three regional economic zones based on geography, population and available resources. The Core Urban Region Economy (CURE), covering the area within the Outer Ring Road, is intended to strengthen Hyderabad’s service sector.
The government has identified approximately 10,500 square kilometres between the Outer Ring Road and the proposed Regional Ring Road as the Peri-Urban Region Economy (PURE). The area is planned as a manufacturing hub offering opportunities for startups and new industries.
The region extending from the Regional Ring Road towards the state boundaries is planned for development as the Rural Agriculture Region Economy (RARE).
The Chief Minister reiterated the state’s ambition to become a $3 trillion economy by 2047, highlighting the importance of investment, infrastructure and effective implementation of development plans.
HILT Policy and Industrial Relocation
The Chief Minister referred to the government’s plan to relocate polluting industries from Hyderabad’s urban areas to locations outside the Outer Ring Road. The objective is to reduce pollution in the city while strengthening its service-based economy.
He said the HILT policy was introduced to facilitate industrial relocation through appropriate incentives, permissions and government support.
Revanth Reddy also highlighted Hyderabad’s growth as a knowledge hub, supported by connectivity improvements and the expansion of IT, pharmaceutical, education and service industries. He said the Regional Ring Road could play a similar role in expanding economic activity beyond the existing urban limits.
Greater Opportunities for Women Entrepreneurs
The Chief Minister emphasised that women’s economic participation is important for sustainable growth. He called for stronger support for women entrepreneurs and equal opportunities for young people to enter the industrial sector.
He also encouraged Indian professionals to move beyond employment in global corporations and establish their own startups and businesses.
The two-day summit brought together elected representatives, industry participants and business leaders to discuss investment, entrepreneurship and economic development.
