సైబర్ జగరూకత దివస్‌లో భాగంగా అవినాష్ కాలేజీలో సైబర్ నేరాలపై అవగాహన కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించారు. ఎన్‌ఎస్‌ఎస్ బృందం సహకారంతో జరిగిన కార్యక్రమంలో సైబర్ మోసాల నుంచి రక్షించుకునేందుకు తీసుకోవాల్సిన జాగ్రత్తలను విద్యార్థులకు వివరించారు.
సైబర్ క్రైమ్ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ సిబ్బంది విద్యార్థులకు ఆన్‌లైన్ మోసాలపై అవగాహన కల్పించారు. ముఖ్యంగా సైబర్ మోసాలకు గురికాకుండా అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని, అనుమానాస్పద లింకులు, సందేశాలు, కాల్స్ పట్ల జాగ్రత్త వహించాలని సూచించారు.
డిజిటల్ లావాదేవీలు నిర్వహించే సమయంలో వ్యక్తిగత, బ్యాంకింగ్ సమాచారాన్ని అపరిచితులతో పంచుకోకూడదని సిబ్బంది సూచించారు. సైబర్ నేరగాళ్లు వివిధ మార్గాల్లో ప్రజలను మోసం చేసే అవకాశం ఉన్నందున ప్రతి ఆన్‌లైన్ కార్యకలాపంలో అప్రమత్తత అవసరమని వివరించారు.
విద్యార్థులు సైబర్ మోసాలకు సంబంధించిన అంశాలపై అవగాహన పెంచుకోవడంతో పాటు, అనుమానాస్పద కార్యకలాపాలు ఎదురైనప్పుడు ఆలస్యం చేయకుండా సంబంధిత అధికారులకు ఫిర్యాదు చేయాలని సూచించారు.
సైబర్ భద్రతపై యువతలో అవగాహన పెంచడం ద్వారా ఆన్‌లైన్ మోసాలను నివారించేందుకు ప్రజలను మరింత అప్రమత్తం చేయవచ్చని కార్యక్రమంలో వివరించారు.

As part of Cyber Jagrookta Diwas, a cybercrime awareness programme was conducted at Avinash College in collaboration with the NSS team.
Personnel from the Cyber Crime Police Station sensitised students about online fraud and explained precautionary measures to help them stay safe from cybercriminals.
Students were advised to remain cautious while using digital platforms and to be particularly careful with suspicious links, messages, calls and online requests for personal information.
The programme also highlighted the importance of protecting sensitive personal and financial information while carrying out digital transactions. Students were encouraged not to share confidential details with unknown persons or respond to suspicious online communications.
The police personnel stressed the importance of promptly reporting suspected cyber fraud or other cybercrime incidents to the appropriate authorities.
