దసరా, దీపావళి పండగల నేపథ్యంలో సొంతూళ్లకు వెళ్లే ప్రయాణికుల రద్దీని దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకుని రైల్వే శాఖ ప్రత్యేక రైళ్లను అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకొస్తోంది. దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే పరిధిలోని పలు మార్గాల్లో అదనపు సర్వీసులు నడపడంతో ప్రయాణికులకు మరిన్ని ప్రయాణ అవకాశాలు లభించనున్నాయి.
చర్లపల్లి–శ్రీకాకుళం రోడ్ మధ్య ప్రత్యేక రైలు సర్వీసు మంగళవారాల్లో నడుస్తోంది. ఈ సర్వీసు అక్టోబర్ 6, 13, 20, 27 తేదీలతో పాటు నవంబర్ 3, 10, 17, 24 తేదీల్లో అందుబాటులో ఉంటుంది. రైలు నంబర్ 07037గా ఈ సర్వీసు నడుస్తున్నట్లు అందుబాటులో ఉన్న తాజా సమాచారం పేర్కొంది. Hyderabad Mail
అదేవిధంగా విశాఖపట్నం–ఎస్‌ఎం‌వీటీ బెంగళూరు మధ్య వారపు ప్రత్యేక రైలు సర్వీసును నవంబర్ 25 వరకు కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు. ఈ సర్వీసు అక్టోబర్ 6 నుంచి ప్రారంభమై, పండగల సమయంలో పెరిగే ప్రయాణికుల రద్దీని తగ్గించేందుకు అదనపు ప్రయాణ సౌకర్యాన్ని కల్పిస్తోంది. The Financial Express

Indian Railways and the South Central Railway are operating additional special train services to meet the expected increase in passenger demand during the Dasara and Diwali festive season.
A Charlapalli–Srikakulam Road special train is operating on Tuesdays during October and November. The service is scheduled on October 6, 13, 20 and 27, followed by November 3, 10, 17 and 24. The service is listed as Train No. 07037. Hyderabad Mail
A weekly special service between Visakhapatnam and SMVT Bengaluru is also being operated during the festive period. The service provides additional connectivity between Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka and is scheduled to continue through November 25 in the return direction. The Financial Express
For passengers travelling from Telangana towards coastal Andhra Pradesh, special services are also operating between Secunderabad and Kakinada Town.
