సారూర్‌నగర్ పోలీసుల ఆధ్వర్యంలో మల్కాజ్‌గిరి షీ టీమ్స్‌తో కలిసి కొత్తపేటలోని ప్రభుత్వ బాలికల న్యాయ కళాశాలలో అవగాహన కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించారు. విద్యార్థులకు సైబర్ నేరాల నివారణ, మాదకద్రవ్యాల అక్రమ రవాణా, ర్యాగింగ్‌ నిరోధం, మహిళల భద్రతపై అవగాహన కల్పించారు.
సైబర్ నేరాల పట్ల అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని, వ్యక్తిగత సమాచారాన్ని అపరిచితులతో పంచుకోకూడదని విద్యార్థులకు సూచించారు. అనుమానాస్పద కార్యకలాపాలు లేదా మోసపూరిత పరిచయాలు ఎదురైనప్పుడు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని వివరించారు.
మాదకద్రవ్యాల అక్రమ రవాణా వల్ల కలిగే ప్రమాదాలు, యువత దానికి దూరంగా ఉండాల్సిన అవసరంపై కూడా అవగాహన కల్పించారు. విద్యార్థులు అనుమానాస్పద కార్యకలాపాలను గుర్తించినప్పుడు సంబంధిత అధికారులకు సమాచారం ఇవ్వాలని సూచించారు.
ర్యాగింగ్‌కు వ్యతిరేకంగా అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండటం, మహిళల భద్రతకు సంబంధించిన సమస్యలను నిర్లక్ష్యం చేయకుండా సకాలంలో నివేదించడం గురించి షీ టీమ్స్ అవగాహన కల్పించాయి.

Saroornagar Police, along with Malkajgiri She Teams, conducted an awareness programme at Government Law College for Girls in Kothapet, Hyderabad.
The programme focused on creating awareness among students about cybercrime prevention, drug trafficking, anti-ragging measures and women’s safety. Students were encouraged to remain vigilant and follow safe practices in their daily lives.
The police sensitised students about the risks associated with cybercrime and the importance of protecting personal information while using digital platforms. They were also encouraged to report suspicious activities and cyber-related incidents without delay.
Awareness was also created about the dangers associated with drug trafficking and the importance of staying away from activities involving illegal drugs.
The programme further highlighted the need to prevent ragging and encouraged students to promptly report any incidents affecting their safety or well-being.
