Telangana’s school breakfast programme has received a major boost with Junna Solar Systems Pvt. Ltd and Chain Labs India Pvt. Ltd contributing a combined ₹9.17 crore towards centralised community kitchens in Nagarkurnool and Vikarabad.

According to a Deccan Chronicle report published on October 2, the two companies have partnered with the Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Foundation to establish high-capacity kitchens that will prepare and supply nutritious breakfasts to government school students.

Junna Solar Systems has contributed ₹5.17 crore towards the centralised community kitchen at Nagarkurnool. The facility is expected to provide nutritious breakfasts to around 50,000 children studying in government schools across the district.

Chain Labs India has contributed ₹4 crore towards a centralised kitchen at Vikarabad. The facility is expected to serve around 20,000 government school children in the region.
