మేడ్చల్-మల్కాజిగిరి జిల్లాలోని ఉద్దెమరి గ్రామంలో విద్యార్థులకు మహిళలు, చిన్నారుల భద్రతపై షీ టీమ్స్ అవగాహన కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించింది. షామీర్పేట్ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ పరిధిలోని జెడ్పీహెచ్ఎస్లో ఈ కార్యక్రమం జరిగింది.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో షీ టీమ్స్ బృందం విద్యార్థులకు మహిళలు, బాలల భద్రతకు సంబంధించిన పలు అంశాలపై అవగాహన కల్పించింది. గుడ్ టచ్, బ్యాడ్ టచ్, బాలలపై వేధింపులు, బాల్య వివాహాలు, మానవ అక్రమ రవాణా వంటి అంశాలను వివరించింది.
అలాగే లింగ సమానత్వం, సైబర్ నేరాలు, లోన్ యాప్ మోసాలు, యాంటీ ర్యాగింగ్, సీసీటీవీ భద్రత, టీ-సేఫ్ యాప్ వినియోగంపై విద్యార్థులకు అవగాహన కల్పించారు. వాస్తవ ఘటనలను ఉదాహరణలుగా వివరిస్తూ ప్రమాదకర పరిస్థితులను ముందుగానే గుర్తించి అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని సూచించారు.
ఎవరైనా బెదిరింపులు, వేధింపులు లేదా ఇతర ఇబ్బందులు ఎదురైతే మౌనం పాటించకుండా వెంటనే సహాయం కోరాలని షీ టీమ్స్ సూచించింది. అత్యవసర పోలీసు సహాయం కోసం 112కు కాల్ చేయాలని, మల్కాజిగిరి కమిషనరేట్కు 8712662111 నంబర్ ద్వారా వాట్సాప్లో సమాచారం అందించవచ్చని తెలిపింది.
తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ మహిళా భద్రతా విభాగం ప్రకారం, షీ టీమ్స్ మహిళలు, బాలికలపై వేధింపులు, స్టాకింగ్, బహిరంగ ప్రదేశాల్లో వేధింపులు, ఆన్లైన్ వేధింపుల వంటి అంశాలపై పనిచేస్తున్నాయి.

Medchal-Malkajgiri: SHE Teams of Jawaharnagar conducted a safety awareness programme for students at ZPHS in Uddemari village, under Shamirpet Police Station limits.
During the programme, students were educated about SHE Teams, Good Touch and Bad Touch, child abuse, child marriages, human trafficking and gender sensitisation. The team also explained the risks associated with cybercrime, loan app frauds and ragging.
Students were further briefed about the importance of CCTV safety and the T-Safe App. Real-life case studies were used to help students understand potential threats and the importance of remaining alert in difficult situations.
The students were encouraged to speak up and seek timely assistance whenever they face threats, harassment or distress. The SHE Teams advised students to contact the police by dialling 112 for emergency assistance.
Students can also share information with the Malkajgiri Commissionerate through WhatsApp at 8712662111, according to the information provided for the awareness programme.
The programme focused on encouraging students to remain alert, understand potential safety risks and seek help without hesitation when faced with threatening or distressing situations.
