ఎన్నికల జాబితా నుంచి పేర్ల తొలగింపు, ఓటర్ల అర్హతల నిర్ధారణ వంటి ప్రక్రియలు పారదర్శకంగా, ప్రజలకు స్పష్టంగా అర్థమయ్యేలా ఉండాలని సీఎం పేర్కొన్నారు. దేశ జనాభా పెరుగుతున్న సమయంలో ఓటర్ల సంఖ్య తగ్గడంపై ఆయన ప్రశ్నలు లేవనెత్తారు.
ప్రజాస్వామ్యంలో ఎవరు పరిపాలించాలన్నది ప్రజలే నిర్ణయిస్తారని, ఓటు హక్కు ప్రజాస్వామ్యానికి కీలకమైన హక్కు అని రేవంత్ రెడ్డి పేర్కొన్నారు. ఓటర్ల జాబితా సవరణ సమయంలో అర్హులైన ఓటర్లకు ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బంది కలగకుండా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని ఆయన అన్నారు.

అదే కార్యక్రమంలో నియోజకవర్గాల పునర్విభజన అంశాన్ని కూడా సీఎం ప్రస్తావించారు. జనాభా నియంత్రణలో ముందున్న దక్షిణాది రాష్ట్రాలకు భవిష్యత్తులో రాజకీయ ప్రాతినిధ్య పరంగా నష్టం జరగకుండా చూడాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని ఆయన అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు.
తెలంగాణ అభివృద్ధి, హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రో విస్తరణ, రీజినల్ రింగ్ రోడ్డు, జాతీయ రహదారులు వంటి అంశాలను కూడా రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రస్తావించారు. రాష్ట్రానికి సంబంధించిన కీలక ప్రాజెక్టులకు కేంద్రం నుంచి మద్దతు అవసరమని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
విద్య, నైపుణ్యాభివృద్ధిపై కూడా సీఎం మాట్లాడారు. యువతకు విద్యతో పాటు ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలకు అవసరమైన నైపుణ్యాలను అందించాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని తెలిపారు. ప్రభుత్వ విద్యా వ్యవస్థలో ఇంగ్లీష్ భాష, కమ్యూనికేషన్ నైపుణ్యాలకు ప్రాధాన్యం ఇవ్వాల్సిన అవసరాన్ని కూడా ఆయన వివరించారు.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said the rights of eligible voters must be protected during the electoral roll revision process.
Revanth Reddy made the remarks while participating in a discussion on “India’s Next Chapter” at The Conclave 2026 in New Delhi. The event was organised by Pratidin Media Network.
The Chief Minister said procedures relating to deletion of names from electoral rolls and verification of voter eligibility should be transparent and clearly understandable to the public.
He also questioned how the number of voters could decline when the country’s population is increasing. Revanth Reddy said people ultimately decide who should govern them in a democracy and described the right to vote as a fundamental pillar of democratic participation.
Recent media reports said Revanth Reddy also strongly criticised the SIR process and made allegations concerning the Central government and the Election Commission. These statements were reported as political allegations made by the Chief Minister.
During the same discussion, Revanth Reddy raised concerns about the proposed delimitation of constituencies. He argued that southern states that had implemented population-control measures should not face political disadvantage in future representation.
The Chief Minister also discussed Telangana’s development priorities, including the expansion of Hyderabad Metro Rail, the Regional Ring Road and national highways. He said Telangana required adequate support from the Centre for major infrastructure projects.
Education and skill development were also among the issues discussed. Revanth Reddy said young people should receive education along with skills required for employment and emphasised the importance of English-language and communication skills.
