Hyderabad Ganesh Immersion: Traffic Restrictions Continue Today

హైదరాబాద్లో గణేష్ నిమజ్జన శోభాయాత్ర నేపథ్యంలో నేడు కూడా ప్రధాన మార్గాల్లో ట్రాఫిక్ ఆంక్షలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. నిమజ్జన కార్యక్రమం ప్రశాంతంగా కొనసాగుతోందని హైదరాబాద్ సిటీ పోలీస్ కమిషనర్ వి.సి. సజ్జనార్ తెలిపారు.
ట్యాంక్బండ్, ఎన్టీఆర్ మార్గ్, నెక్లెస్ రోడ్, పీవీ స్టాచ్యూ, ఇందిరాగాంధీ రోటరీ పరిసరాల్లో విగ్రహాల రాకపోకలు, భక్తుల రద్దీ కారణంగా సాధారణ వాహనాలకు అనుమతి లేదని పోలీసులు తెలిపారు.
ఈ ప్రాంతాలకు కుటుంబ సమేతంగా పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో భక్తులు తరలిరావడంతో వాహనాల రాకపోకలు మందగించి నిమజ్జన ప్రక్రియలో కొంత ఆలస్యం ఏర్పడిందని సజ్జనార్ తెలిపారు. మిగిలిన విగ్రహాల నిమజ్జనాన్ని వేగంగా పూర్తి చేసేందుకు పోలీస్, ట్రాఫిక్ విభాగాల సిబ్బంది నిరంతరం పనిచేస్తున్నారని చెప్పారు.
అత్యవసర పరిస్థితి లేకపోతే ప్రధాన నిమజ్జన మార్గాల్లో ప్రయాణాలను వాయిదా వేసుకోవాలని లేదా ప్రత్యామ్నాయ మార్గాలను ఎంచుకోవాలని నగర ప్రజలకు పోలీసులు సూచించారు.
ట్రాఫిక్ పోలీస్ విభాగం ఎప్పటికప్పుడు విడుదల చేసే అధికారిక సూచనలు, ట్రాఫిక్ అడ్వైజరీలను గమనిస్తూ పోలీసులకు సహకరించాలని సజ్జనార్ విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.

Hyderabad City Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar has urged residents to avoid unnecessary travel on major roads as Ganesh idol immersion processions continue across the city on Saturday.
Traffic restrictions remain in force on major immersion routes, including Tank Bund, NTR Marg, Necklace Road, PV Statue and areas around Indira Gandhi Rotary, due to the movement of idols and large crowds of devotees.
Sajjanar said the immersion procession had been proceeding peacefully, while the heavy movement of devotees and vehicles had slowed traffic and caused some delay in the immersion process.
Police and traffic personnel are working continuously to complete the remaining immersions as quickly as possible. The Commissioner thanked citizens for their cooperation and urged them to continue following traffic advisories.
Residents have been advised to postpone non-essential journeys through the affected areas or choose alternative routes. Motorists have also been asked not to enter congested immersion routes unnecessarily and become stuck in traffic.
