Khairatabad Ganesh Shobha Yatra 2026 Begins Towards Hussain sagar.
హైదరాబాద్లోని ప్రసిద్ధ ఖైరతాబాద్ మహాగణపతి నిమజ్జన శోభాయాత్ర శుక్రవారం ఉదయం ప్రారంభమైంది. 69 అడుగుల పంచముఖ సంకటహర మహాగణపతిని హుస్సేన్సాగర్లో నిమజ్జనం చేసేందుకు ఖైరతాబాద్ నుంచి ఎన్టీఆర్ మార్గ్ వైపు శోభాయాత్ర కొనసాగుతోంది.
ముందుగా ఉదయం విగ్రహాన్ని ప్రత్యేక భారీ వాహనంపైకి ఎక్కించే ప్రక్రియ చేపట్టారు. అయితే హైడ్రాలిక్ క్రేన్లో సాంకేతిక సమస్య తలెత్తడంతో శోభాయాత్ర ప్రారంభంలో సుమారు మూడు గంటల ఆలస్యం జరిగింది. పైప్ పగిలిపోవడంతో వెల్డింగ్, మరమ్మతు పనులు చేపట్టిన అనంతరం విగ్రహాన్ని ప్రత్యేక టస్కర్ వాహనంపైకి తరలించారు.
అనంతరం సుమారు ఉదయం 9:30 గంటలకు ఖైరతాబాద్ నుంచి మహాగణపతి శోభాయాత్ర ప్రారంభమైంది. ఖైరతాబాద్ లైబ్రరీ చౌరస్తా నుంచి రాజ్దూత్ చౌరస్తా, టెలిఫోన్ భవన్, ఇక్బాల్ మినార్ చౌరస్తా, తెలంగాణ తల్లి చౌరస్తా, సచివాలయం మీదుగా ఎన్టీఆర్ మార్గ్లోని క్రేన్ నంబర్-4 వద్దకు విగ్రహాన్ని తరలించనున్నారు.
నిమజ్జనం కోసం ఎన్టీఆర్ మార్గ్ వద్ద ప్రత్యేక బాహుబలి క్రేన్ను సిద్ధం చేశారు. తాజా అధికారిక ఏర్పాట్ల ప్రకారం మహాగణపతి మధ్యాహ్నం సమయంలో హుస్సేన్సాగర్కు చేరుకుని, సుమారు 2 గంటల నుంచి 3 గంటల మధ్య నిమజ్జనం పూర్తయ్యేలా అధికారులు చర్యలు చేపడుతున్నారు.
ఖైరతాబాద్ మహాగణపతి శోభాయాత్ర నేపథ్యంలో భారీ సంఖ్యలో భక్తులు తరలివచ్చారు. ఎలాంటి అవాంఛనీయ ఘటనలు చోటుచేసుకోకుండా పోలీసులు విస్తృత బందోబస్తు ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. నగరవ్యాప్తంగా గణేశ్ నిమజ్జనానికి సుమారు 20 వేల మంది పోలీసులను మోహరించడంతో పాటు దాదాపు 10 వేల సీసీటీవీ కెమెరాల ద్వారా పర్యవేక్షణ చేపడుతున్నారు.
హైదరాబాద్లోని ప్రధాన రహదారుల్లో ట్రాఫిక్ ఆంక్షలు, మళ్లింపులు అమల్లో ఉన్నాయి. ఖైరతాబాద్, ఎన్టీఆర్ మార్గ్, నెక్లెస్ రోడ్, ట్యాంక్బండ్ పరిసర ప్రాంతాల్లో వాహనదారులు ట్రాఫిక్ పోలీసుల సూచనలను పాటించాలని అధికారులు కోరుతున్నారు.
The Khairatabad Bada Ganesh Shobha Yatra began in Hyderabad on Friday morning as the 69-foot Panchamukha Sankatahara Maha Ganapathi was taken towards Hussain Sagar for immersion.
The procession was delayed by nearly three hours due to a technical problem with the hydraulic crane used to move the massive idol. A pipe rupture forced officials and workers to undertake welding and repair work before the idol could be safely placed on the specialised tusker vehicle.
The procession eventually began at around 9:30 am from Khairatabad. The idol is being taken through Rajdoot Chowrasta, Telephone Bhavan, Iqbal Minar Chowrasta, Telangana Thalli Chowrasta and the Secretariat before reaching Crane No. 4 on NTR Marg.
A special heavy-duty Bahubali crane has been arranged at NTR Marg for the immersion. According to the latest arrangements, the idol is expected to reach Hussain Sagar around the afternoon, with the immersion targeted to be completed between approximately 2 pm and 3 pm.
Large crowds of devotees have gathered along the procession route. Hyderabad Police have deployed around 20,000 personnel for security and traffic management, while nearly 10,000 CCTV cameras are being used for continuous surveillance along major procession routes.
Traffic restrictions and diversions are in force across several major roads in Hyderabad, including areas around Khairatabad, NTR Marg, Necklace Road and Tank Bund. Commuters have been advised to follow traffic police instructions and use alternative routes where required.
