DGP C.V. Anand Congratulates Telangana Police Shooters on 15-Medal Haul

హైదరాబాద్: తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ షూటర్లు రాష్ట్ర, దక్షిణ మండల స్థాయి షూటింగ్ ఛాంపియన్షిప్లలో మొత్తం 15 పతకాలు సాధించడంపై డీజీపీ సీవీ ఆనంద్, ఐపీఎస్ వారిని అభినందించారు.
తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ షూటర్లు గచ్చిబౌలిలోని హెచ్సీయూ-శాట్జీ షూటింగ్ రేంజ్లో జరిగిన 12వ తెలంగాణ స్టేట్ షూటింగ్ ఛాంపియన్షిప్-2026లో 11 పతకాలు సాధించారు. ఇందులో నాలుగు స్వర్ణాలు, మూడు రజతాలు, నాలుగు కాంస్య పతకాలు ఉన్నాయి.
అలాగే తిరువనంతపురంలో జరిగిన 17వ సౌత్ జోన్ షూటింగ్ ఛాంపియన్షిప్లో తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ షూటర్లు మరో నాలుగు పతకాలు సాధించారు. వీటిలో రెండు స్వర్ణాలు, ఒక రజతం, ఒక కాంస్య పతకం ఉన్నాయి.
రెండు ఛాంపియన్షిప్లలో కలిపి పోలీస్ షూటర్లు ఆరు స్వర్ణాలు, నాలుగు రజతాలు, ఐదు కాంస్య పతకాలు సాధించారు. ఈ స్థాయి విజయాలు నిరంతర సాధన, క్రమశిక్షణ, పట్టుదలకు ప్రతిఫలమని డీజీపీ సీవీ ఆనంద్ పేర్కొన్నారు.
షూటర్ల క్రమశిక్షణ, ఏకాగ్రతను డీజీపీ అభినందించారు. రాబోయే జాతీయ, అంతర్జాతీయ పోటీల్లో మరింత ఉన్నత లక్ష్యాలతో ముందుకు సాగి తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ శాఖకు మరిన్ని ప్రతిష్టాత్మక విజయాలు తీసుకురావాలని వారిని ప్రోత్సహించారు.
కేవలం పోటీల్లో పాల్గొనడం మాత్రమే కాకుండా విజయం సాధించడమే లక్ష్యంగా ఉండాలని డీజీపీ సీవీ ఆనంద్ సూచించారు.

Hyderabad: Telangana DGP C.V. Anand, IPS, congratulated Telangana Police shooters for securing an impressive 15 medals across the Telangana State and South Zone Shooting Championships 2026.
The police shooters won 11 medals at the 12th Telangana State Shooting Championship-2026, held at the HCU-SATG Shooting Range in Gachibowli. Their tally included four gold, three silver and four bronze medals.
They secured another four medals at the 17th South Zone Shooting Championship held in Thiruvananthapuram. The haul comprised two gold, one silver and one bronze medal.
Across the two championships, Telangana Police shooters won a total of six gold, four silver and five bronze medals.
DGP C.V. Anand said success at this level reflected the shooters’ sustained practice, discipline and commitment. He appreciated their focus and dedication and encouraged them to aim higher in upcoming national and international competitions.
The DGP urged the shooters to continue their efforts and bring more laurels to the Telangana Police Department at major competitions.
He also stressed that winning should be the objective, rather than merely participating in competitions.
