అసెంబ్లీ వద్ద ఇటీవల జరిగిన ఆందోళనకు సంబంధించిన కేసులో విచారణ కోసం మహేందర్ రెడ్డి, మహేశ్లను సైఫాబాద్ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్కు పిలిపించిన సమయంలో ఈ ఘటన జరిగినట్లు బీఆర్ఎస్ నేతలు తెలిపారు. సోమవారం సాయంత్రం సుమారు 6.30 గంటల సమయంలో దాదాపు 15 మంది ముసుగులు ధరించిన వ్యక్తులు ఇంటరాగేషన్ రూమ్లోకి వెళ్లి వారిపై దాడికి ప్రయత్నించారని ఆరోపించారు.
అక్కడే ఉన్న బీఆర్ఎస్ లీగల్ టీం సభ్యులు ఘటనను గమనించి అడ్డుకోవడంతో దాడికి ప్రయత్నించిన వ్యక్తులు అక్కడి నుంచి వెళ్లిపోయారని పార్టీ నేతలు పేర్కొన్నారు. ఈ ఆరోపణలకు సంబంధించి పూర్తి సీసీటీవీ ఫుటేజ్ను బహిర్గతం చేయాలని వారు డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
బీఆర్ఎస్ నేతల ప్రకారం, ఈ కేసులో తదుపరి ఆదేశాలు వెలువడే వరకు ఎలాంటి బలవంతపు చర్యలు తీసుకోవద్దని హైకోర్టు ఆదేశాలు ఇచ్చినప్పటికీ దాడికి ప్రయత్నించారని ఆరోపించారు. ఈ ఘటనపై హోంశాఖ బాధ్యతలు నిర్వహిస్తున్న ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి స్పందించాలని, ముసుగులు ధరించిన వ్యక్తులను గుర్తించి కేసు నమోదు చేసి చట్టప్రకారం చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.

BRS leaders have alleged that masked individuals attempted to assault the party’s working president KT Rama Rao’s personal assistant Mahender Reddy and public relations officer Mahesh inside the Saifabad Police Station in Hyderabad. The party has strongly condemned the alleged incident.
Mahender Reddy and Mahesh had appeared at the Saifabad Police Station for questioning in connection with a case related to the recent protest near the Telangana Assembly. According to BRS leaders, around 15 masked persons entered the interrogation room at around 6.30 pm on Monday and allegedly attempted to assault the two.
Members of the BRS legal team who were present at the police station reportedly noticed the incident, raised an alarm and intervened, following which the alleged attackers left the premises. The party has demanded the immediate release of the complete CCTV footage of the police station to establish what happened.
BRS leaders also alleged that the incident occurred despite directions of the Telangana High Court in the case and demanded an explanation from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who also handles the Home portfolio. They called for the identification of the masked individuals, registration of an FIR and legal action against those responsible.
KTR has also strongly reacted to the alleged incident and demanded an inquiry by a sitting judge. Recent media reports have independently carried the allegations concerning the alleged attack at Saifabad Police Station. The identity of the persons involved and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain matters for investigation.
