Malkajgiri Commissioner of Police B. Sumathi, IPS, visited the Milad-un-Nabi procession at Hasmathpet in Alwal and reviewed the security arrangements on the ground.
During the visit, the CP interacted with police officers and personnel deployed for security duties and reviewed the arrangements being made for the smooth conduct of the procession.
B. Sumathi instructed the officers on duty to maintain close coordination and ensure that the procession proceeds peacefully without causing inconvenience to the public.
She also emphasised the importance of public safety and directed the personnel to remain vigilant and continuously monitor the situation on the ground.
The police were instructed to take all necessary measures to ensure the peaceful and orderly conduct of the Milad-un-Nabi procession and maintain effective coordination throughout the event.
