నిజామాబాద్ ఉమ్మడి జిల్లాలో విస్తృతంగా పర్యటించిన రాష్ట్ర రెవెన్యూ శాఖ మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస రెడ్డి.. భూ సమస్యలు, రీ సర్వే, ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్లు, డబుల్ బెడ్రూమ్ ఇళ్లపై అధికారులతో సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు. పెండింగ్ దరఖాస్తుల పరిష్కారంలో జాప్యంపై అధికారులపై ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేసి, ప్రజలను కార్యాలయాల చుట్టూ తిప్పుతూ ఇబ్బందులకు గురిచేస్తే ఎంతటివారైనా ఉపేక్షించబోమని హెచ్చరించారు.
భూభారతి రెవెన్యూ సదస్సుల్లో వచ్చిన దరఖాస్తులు, సాదాబైనామా అర్జీల పరిష్కారంలో జాప్యం చేస్తున్న తహసీల్దార్ల పనితీరుపై మంత్రి అసంతృప్తి వ్యక్తం చేశారు. పదేపదే సూచించినా పనితీరులో మార్పు రాని అధికారులపై కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
తెలంగాణలో భూ సమస్యలకు శాశ్వత పరిష్కారం చూపడమే లక్ష్యంగా చేపట్టిన రీ సర్వేను వేగవంతం చేయాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ఏడాదిన్నరలోపు వ్యవసాయ భూములతో పాటు ఆబాది ఆస్తుల రీ సర్వే పూర్తి చేయాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
తొలి దశలో ప్రతి జిల్లాలో 70 గ్రామాల్లో రీ సర్వే కొనసాగుతోందని మంత్రి వెల్లడించారు. రీ సర్వే జరుగుతున్న గ్రామాల్లో కలెక్టర్లు, రెవెన్యూ అధికారులు క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో పర్యటించి ప్రజల సమస్యలను అక్కడికక్కడే పరిష్కరించేలా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని ఆదేశించారు.
ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్లపై కీలక ప్రకటన
పేదల సొంతింటి కలను సాకారం చేసి వారి ఆత్మగౌరవాన్ని పెంచడమే ప్రభుత్వ లక్ష్యమని పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస రెడ్డి అన్నారు. కులం, మతం, రాజకీయాలకు అతీతంగా అర్హులైన ప్రతి పేద కుటుంబానికి ఇందిరమ్మ ఇల్లు అందిస్తామని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
పట్టణాలు, నగరాల్లో ఇళ్ల స్థలాలు లేని నిరుపేదల కోసం హైదరాబాద్ తరహాలో రాష్ట్రంలోని ప్రముఖ పట్టణాల్లో ఇందిరమ్మ టవర్లు నిర్మిస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు. ఇందులో భాగంగా నిజామాబాద్లో ప్రయోగాత్మకంగా ఇందిరమ్మ టవర్స్ నిర్మించేందుకు నాగారంలోని నిర్మితి కేంద్రం వద్ద స్థలాన్ని పరిశీలించారు.
ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్ల లబ్ధిదారుల నిర్మాణ భారాన్ని తగ్గించేందుకు సిమెంట్ బ్యాగ్ను రూ.230కే అందించేలా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నామని మంత్రి తెలిపారు. పేద కుటుంబాలపై నిర్మాణ వ్యయ భారాన్ని తగ్గించడంతో పాటు ఇళ్ల నిర్మాణాన్ని వేగవంతం చేయడమే ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్దేశమన్నారు.
లబ్ధిదారులతో మంత్రి ముఖాముఖి
నిజామాబాద్లోని 43వ డివిజన్ పాముల బస్తీలో ఇందిరమ్మ పథకం కింద నిర్మాణం పూర్తయిన ఇళ్లను మంత్రి పరిశీలించారు. లబ్ధిదారులతో మాట్లాడి బిల్లులు సకాలంలో అందుతున్నాయా, నిర్మాణంలో ఏమైనా ఇబ్బందులు ఉన్నాయా అనే వివరాలను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు.
ఇళ్లు పూర్తిచేసుకున్న కుటుంబాలకు మంత్రి అభినందనలు తెలిపారు. నూతన గృహ ప్రవేశం చేసుకున్న కుటుంబాలకు శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలియజేసి నూతన వస్త్రాలను బహూకరించారు. చివరి దశలో ఉన్న ఇళ్ల నిర్మాణాలను కూడా త్వరగా పూర్తి చేసుకోవాలని సూచించారు.
డబుల్ బెడ్రూమ్ ఇళ్లపై దృష్టి
ఐడీఓసీ సమీపంలో నిర్మించిన డబుల్ బెడ్రూమ్ ఇళ్లను కూడా మంత్రి పరిశీలించారు. పెండింగ్ పనులను వెంటనే పూర్తి చేయాలని కాంట్రాక్టర్ను ఆదేశించారు. నిధుల కొరత లేదని, పనులు పూర్తయిన 24 గంటల్లోనే బిల్లులు మంజూరు చేస్తామని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
డబుల్ బెడ్రూమ్ ఇళ్ల సముదాయాన్ని యుద్ధప్రాతిపదికన పూర్తి చేసి హౌసింగ్ శాఖకు అప్పగించాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. విద్యుత్, తాగునీరు, పారిశుధ్య పనులను కూడా త్వరగా పూర్తి చేయాలని సూచించారు.
నిజామాబాద్ అర్బన్ నియోజకవర్గానికి చెందిన 400 మంది లబ్ధిదారులకు మంత్రి పొంగులేటి చేతుల మీదుగా డబుల్ బెడ్రూమ్ ఇళ్ల కేటాయింపు పత్రాలను అందజేశారు. మరో వారం నుంచి పది రోజుల్లో మరో 300 మంది లబ్ధిదారులకు ఇళ్లు అందిస్తామని తెలిపారు.
డబుల్ బెడ్రూమ్ ఇళ్ల కేటాయింపులు పూర్తి పారదర్శకంగా, అర్హత ఆధారంగా జరిగేలా చర్యలు తీసుకున్నామని మంత్రి పేర్కొన్నారు.
8 లక్షల ఇళ్లకు మంజూరు
మొదటి విడతలో 4.50 లక్షల ఇళ్లు, రెండో విడతలో 2.50 లక్షల ఇళ్లు, హైదరాబాద్లో మరో లక్ష ఇళ్లను కలుపుకుని ఇప్పటివరకు మొత్తం 8 లక్షల ఇళ్లకు మంజూరు ఇచ్చినట్లు పొంగులేటి తెలిపారు.
ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్ల కార్యక్రమం నిరంతర ప్రక్రియ అని, అర్హత కలిగిన ప్రతి పేద కుటుంబానికి సొంతింటి కల సాకారం అయ్యే వరకు విడతల వారీగా ఇళ్లను మంజూరు చేస్తామని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
గత ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో పదేళ్లలో పేదలకు తగిన స్థాయిలో ఇళ్లు నిర్మించలేదని మంత్రి విమర్శించారు. గత ప్రభుత్వంలో అసంపూర్తిగా మిగిలిపోయిన డబుల్ బెడ్రూమ్ ఇళ్లను పూర్తి చేసి లబ్ధిదారులకు అందించే బాధ్యతను ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకుందని తెలిపారు.

Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy conducted an extensive tour of the erstwhile Nizamabad district and reviewed land, revenue and housing-related issues with officials. He expressed anger over delays in clearing pending applications and warned that officials who cause unnecessary hardship to people would not be spared.
During a review meeting with officials from Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts, the minister took serious note of delays in disposing of applications received during Bhu Bharathi revenue conferences and Sadabainama petitions. He warned that strict action would be taken against officials whose performance does not improve despite repeated instructions.
The minister directed officials to accelerate the ongoing land resurvey being undertaken to provide a permanent solution to land-related problems in Telangana. He said the government has set a target of completing the resurvey of agricultural lands as well as Abadi properties within one-and-a-half years.
According to the minister, the first phase of the resurvey is underway in 70 villages in each district. Collectors and revenue officials were directed to undertake extensive field visits in the villages where the resurvey is being conducted and resolve people’s issues at the local level.
Focus on Indiramma Housing
Ponguleti said the government’s objective was to fulfil the dream of a permanent home for poor families and enhance their dignity. He said eligible poor families would be provided Indiramma houses without discrimination based on caste, religion or political affiliation.
He said Indiramma Towers were being planned in prominent towns across Telangana, on the lines of the model being developed in Hyderabad, for economically weaker families who do not have house sites. As part of the initiative, the minister inspected a site at Nirmithi Kendra in Nagararam for a proposed Indiramma Towers project in Nizamabad.
The minister also said steps were being taken to provide cement bags to Indiramma housing beneficiaries at ₹230 per bag. The objective, he said, was to reduce the construction burden on poor families and accelerate house construction.
Minister Interacts with Housing Beneficiaries
Ponguleti inspected houses completed under the Indiramma housing scheme in Pamula Basti in the 43rd Division of Nizamabad. He interacted with beneficiaries and enquired whether bills were being released on time and whether they were facing any difficulties during construction.
He congratulated families who had completed their houses and conveyed his best wishes to those who had entered their new homes. He also distributed new clothes to the beneficiaries and advised families whose houses were nearing completion to finish the remaining works quickly.
Double-Bedroom Houses Reviewed
The minister subsequently inspected the double-bedroom houses constructed near the IDOC. He directed the contractor to complete the pending works immediately and said there was no shortage of funds. Bills would be sanctioned within 24 hours after completion of the works, he said.
Officials were instructed to complete the housing complex on a war footing and hand it over to the Housing Department. Electricity, drinking water and sanitation works were also ordered to be completed without delay.
At an event held at the local Rajiv Gandhi Auditorium, allocation documents for double-bedroom houses were distributed to 400 beneficiaries from the Nizamabad Urban constituency. The minister said another 300 beneficiaries would receive houses within a week to 10 days.
He said measures had been taken to ensure that the allotment of double-bedroom houses was carried out transparently and strictly on the basis of eligibility.
Eight Lakh Houses Sanctioned
Ponguleti said 4.50 lakh houses had been sanctioned in the first phase and another 2.50 lakh in the second phase. Including one lakh houses in Hyderabad, sanctions had so far been issued for a total of eight lakh houses, he said.
He described the Indiramma housing programme as a continuous process and said houses would continue to be sanctioned in phases until every eligible poor family could fulfil its dream of owning a home.
The minister criticised the previous government, alleging that adequate numbers of houses were not constructed for the poor during its decade in power. He said the present government had taken responsibility for completing unfinished double-bedroom houses left from the previous government and handing them over to beneficiaries.
