నల్లగొండ జిల్లా కొండమల్లేపల్లిలో కల్లు రూపారెడ్డి హత్య కేసు మిస్టరీని పోలీసులు ఛేదించారు. నాగార్జున గ్రామర్ కాన్సెప్ట్ స్కూల్లో పదో తరగతి చదువుతున్న ఇద్దరు విద్యార్థులే ఈ ఘటనకు పాల్పడినట్లు దర్యాప్తులో తేలిందని పోలీసులు తెలిపారు.
రూపారెడ్డి గతంలో విద్యార్థులను మందలించడంతో వారిలో కక్ష పెరిగినట్లు పోలీసుల దర్యాప్తులో వెల్లడైంది. డబ్బు కోసం ఆమె ఇంట్లో చోరీ చేయాలని ముందుగానే ప్రణాళిక వేసుకున్నట్లు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు. ఘటనకు ముందు విద్యార్థులు ఆమె ఇంటి పరిసరాల్లో రెక్కీ నిర్వహించినట్లు కూడా వెల్లడైంది.
ఆగస్టు 11న రూపారెడ్డి తన ఇంట్లో హత్యకు గురయ్యారు. ఆమె ఫోన్లో బంధువుతో మాట్లాడుతున్న సమయంలో చివరిగా వినిపించిన “బాబు” అనే మాట దర్యాప్తులో కీలక ఆధారంగా మారింది. ఆ మాట ఆధారంగా పోలీసులు పాఠశాల విద్యార్థులపై కూడా దృష్టి సారించారు.
కేసు దర్యాప్తులో భాగంగా పోలీసులు ఐదు ప్రత్యేక బృందాలను ఏర్పాటు చేసి సీసీ కెమెరాల ఫుటేజీ, ఫోరెన్సిక్ ఆధారాలు, వేలిముద్రలు, డాగ్ స్క్వాడ్, సాంకేతిక ఆధారాలను పరిశీలించారు. సుమారు 30 కిలోమీటర్ల పరిధిలో 70కి పైగా సీసీ కెమెరాల ఫుటేజీని పరిశీలించి, 80 మందికిపైగా అనుమానితులను విచారించినట్లు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు.
దర్యాప్తు కొనసాగుతున్న సమయంలో ఇద్దరు విద్యార్థులపై అనుమానం బలపడటంతో పోలీసులు వారిని అదుపులోకి తీసుకుని విచారించారు. వారి నుంచి లభించిన ఆధారాలు కేసులో కీలకంగా మారినట్లు పోలీసులు వెల్లడించారు. విద్యార్థులు మైనర్లు కావడంతో వారి వ్యక్తిగత వివరాలను పోలీసులు బహిర్గతం చేయలేదు.
పోలీసుల ప్రకారం, ఈ కేసులో డబ్బు కోసం చేసిన ప్రణాళిక, పాత విభేదాలు, ఘటనకు ముందు నిర్వహించిన రెక్కీ వంటి అంశాలపై దర్యాప్తు సాగింది. నిందితులపై చట్టపరమైన ప్రక్రియను పోలీసులు కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు.

Roopa Reddy Murder Case: Two Class 10 Students Held in Nalgonda
Nalgonda Police have cracked the murder case of Kallu Roopa Reddy, principal of Nagarjuna Grammar Concept School in Kondamallepally. Two Class 10 students from the same school have been identified as the alleged accused, according to the police.
Police said the students had allegedly developed a grudge against Roopa Reddy after she reprimanded them earlier. Investigators said the duo subsequently planned to target her house for money and conducted a recce before the incident.
Roopa Reddy was murdered at her residence on August 11. A word heard during her final phone conversation with a relative, “babu,” reportedly became a crucial clue in the investigation. Police subsequently examined the school students as part of the probe.
Five special investigation teams were formed to work on the case. Investigators examined forensic evidence, fingerprints, CCTV footage, dog-squad inputs and technical evidence. Police reportedly examined more than 70 CCTV cameras across a radius of around 30 kilometres and questioned more than 80 people.
The investigation eventually focused on two Class 10 students, who were taken into custody and questioned. Police said evidence recovered during the investigation helped establish their alleged involvement. Since the accused are minors, their identities have not been disclosed.
Police are continuing the legal process in accordance with the applicable law. The case has drawn attention to the importance of early identification of behavioural concerns among students and the need for stronger safety mechanisms around educational institutions
