హైదరాబాద్లోని లాల్దర్వాజా శ్రీ సింహవాహిని మహంకాళి ఆలయంలో ఆషాఢ బోనాల సందర్భంగా భద్రతా ఏర్పాట్లను హైదరాబాద్ నగర పోలీస్ కమిషనర్ వి.సి. సజ్జనార్ పరిశీలించారు. అనంతరం ఆలయంలో ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించారు.
ఆలయ పరిసరాల్లో, చుట్టుపక్కల ప్రాంతాల్లో 48 గంటల పాటు పటిష్ఠ భద్రతా ఏర్పాట్లు చేసినట్లు కమిషనర్ తెలిపారు. భక్తుల సహకారంతో బోనాల వేడుకలు ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బందులు లేకుండా ప్రశాంతంగా కొనసాగుతున్నాయని చెప్పారు.
శాంతిభద్రతల పరిరక్షణ కోసం కృత్రిమ మేధస్సు ఆధారిత కెమెరాలతో నిరంతర నిఘా ఏర్పాటు చేసినట్లు తెలిపారు. దొంగతనాలు, చైన్ స్నాచింగ్లకు పాల్పడే వారిని త్వరగా గుర్తించేందుకు ఈ సాంకేతికతను వినియోగిస్తున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
బందోబస్తు విధుల కోసం రెండు షిఫ్టుల్లో మొత్తం 2,400 మంది పోలీసు సిబ్బందిని మోహరించారు. భక్తుల భద్రత కోసం షీ టీమ్స్, క్రైమ్ టీమ్స్తో పాటు ఆలయాల వద్ద స్టాటిక్ పికెట్లను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.
ఆలయ ప్రాంగణంతో పాటు ఊరేగింపు మార్గాల్లో డ్రోన్లు, అదనపు సీసీ కెమెరాలను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. భద్రతా పర్యవేక్షణను కేంద్రీకృతంగా నిర్వహించేందుకు లాల్దర్వాజాలోని యూనియన్ బ్యాంక్ సమీపంలో ప్రత్యేక కంట్రోల్ రూమ్ను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.
ఈ తనిఖీలో అదనపు పోలీస్ కమిషనర్లు శ్రీనివాస్, తఫ్సీర్ ఇక్బాల్, జాయింట్ పోలీస్ కమిషనర్ జోయెల్ డేవిస్, చార్మినార్ జోన్ డీసీపీ ఖరే కిరణ్ ప్రభాకర్, ట్రాఫిక్ డీసీపీ రాహుల్ హెగ్డే, సీఏఆర్ హెడ్క్వార్టర్స్ డీసీపీ ఆర్. వెంకటేశ్వర్లు, డీసీపీలు శ్రీనివాస్, లావణ్యతో పాటు పలువురు ఉన్నతాధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Hyderabad City Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar inspected the security arrangements at the Sri Simhavahini Mahankali Temple in Lal Darwaza on Sunday on the occasion of the Ashada Bonalu festival. He later offered special prayers at the temple.
The Commissioner said robust security arrangements had been put in place for 48 hours in and around the temple premises. He said the celebrations were progressing peacefully with the cooperation of devotees and without inconvenience.
AI-enabled cameras have been deployed for continuous surveillance as part of the security arrangements. The technology is being used to help quickly identify thieves and chain snatchers and strengthen law and order management during the festival.
A total of 2,400 police personnel have been deployed in two shifts for bandobast duties. SHE Teams and Crime Teams have also been pressed into service, while static pickets have been positioned at temples to ensure the safety of devotees.
Drones and additional CCTV cameras have been installed inside the temple premises as well as along the procession routes. A dedicated control room has also been established near Union Bank in Lal Darwaza for centralised security monitoring.
Additional CPs Srinivas and Tafseer Iqbal, Joint CP Traffic Joel Davis, Charminar Zone DCP Khare Kiran Prabhakar, Traffic DCP Rahul Hegde, CAR Headquarters DCP R. Venkateswarlu, DCPs Srinivas and Lavanya, and other senior police officials attended the inspection.
