న్యూఢిల్లీలోని నిర్వచన్ సదన్లో భారత ప్రధాన ఎన్నికల కమిషనర్, అలాగే ఇంటర్నేషనల్ ఐడియా (International IDEA) సభ్య దేశాల మండలి అధ్యక్షుడు జ్ఞానేశ్ కుమార్ ఉజ్బెకిస్తాన్కు భారతదేశంలోని రాయబారి సర్దోర్ రుస్తాంబాయేవ్తో సమావేశమయ్యారు.

Chief Election Commissioner of India and Chairman of the Council of Member States of International IDEA, Gyanesh Kumar, met Sardor Rustambaev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India, at Nirvachan Sadan in New Delhi to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in election management.
Building on the momentum generated during IICDEM 2026, both sides agreed to work closely to advance the conference agenda and reinforce India’s role as a trusted partner in promoting democratic development across the region.
The discussions also focused on expanding collaboration in election administration, capacity building, and the professional training of election officials. Both countries expressed their commitment to sharing best practices and enhancing institutional cooperation to support transparent, efficient, and credible electoral processes.
