హైదరాబాద్, జూలై 17: తెలంగాణలో క్రీడా రంగ అభివృద్ధికి ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యేక ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తోందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి తెలిపారు. క్రీడల్లో ప్రతిభ కనబర్చిన వారికి నగదు ప్రోత్సాహకాలతో పాటు ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగాలు కల్పిస్తూ క్రీడాకారులను ప్రోత్సహిస్తున్నామని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఇటీవల విజయవంతంగా ముగిసిన సీజన్-1 టీజీ-20 క్రికెట్ లీగ్ విజేత హైదరాబాద్ ఈ-ఛాంపియన్స్ జట్టు ఎంసీఆర్ హెచ్ఆర్డీ బోధి పేవిలియన్లో ముఖ్యమంత్రిని కలిసింది. ఈ సందర్భంగా జట్టు సభ్యులను అభినందించిన ముఖ్యమంత్రి వారికి నగదు ప్రోత్సాహక చెక్కులను అందజేశారు.
తెలంగాణలో క్రీడలకు అవసరమైన మౌలిక వసతుల అభివృద్ధిపై ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి సారించిందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు. రాష్ట్రానికి ప్రత్యేక స్పోర్ట్స్ పాలసీని అమలు చేస్తున్నామని, స్పోర్ట్స్ యూనివర్సిటీను ఏర్పాటు చేశామని చెప్పారు. అలాగే గచ్చిబౌలి స్టేడియాన్ని అంతర్జాతీయ ప్రమాణాలకు అనుగుణంగా అభివృద్ధి చేసే చర్యలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయని వెల్లడించారు. గతంలో జాతీయ స్థాయి క్రీడలకు హైదరాబాద్ ప్రధాన వేదికగా నిలిచిందని గుర్తు చేశారు.
గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల క్రీడాకారులకు తమ ప్రతిభను నిరూపించుకునేందుకు టీజీ-20 క్రికెట్ లీగ్ మంచి అవకాశంగా మారిందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి పేర్కొన్నారు. విజేత హైదరాబాద్ ఈ-ఛాంపియన్స్ జట్టు సభ్యులు భవిష్యత్తులో దేశానికి కీర్తి తీసుకువచ్చే క్రీడాకారులుగా ఎదగాలని ఆకాంక్షించారు.
ఏ రంగంలోనైనా విజయాన్ని సాధించాలంటే లక్ష్యంపై పూర్తి దృష్టి, అంకితభావం, ఆసక్తి అవసరమని క్రీడాకారులకు సూచించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఈనాడు సంస్థల మేనేజింగ్ డైరెక్టర్ సీహెచ్ కిరణ్, ప్రముఖ బ్యాడ్మింటన్ కోచ్ పుల్లెల గోపీచంద్ పాల్గొన్నారు.
Hyderabad, July 17: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said the Telangana Government is giving top priority to the development of sports and encouraging talented athletes through cash rewards and government employment opportunities.
The Hyderabad E-Champions, winners of the recently concluded TG-20 Cricket League Season-1, met the Chief Minister at the MCR HRD Bodhi Pavilion. During the interaction, he congratulated the players and presented them with cash reward cheques.
The Chief Minister stated that the government has introduced a dedicated Sports Policy for Telangana and established a Sports University to strengthen sports infrastructure. He also said that efforts are underway to upgrade the Gachibowli Stadium to international standards, recalling Hyderabad’s legacy as a major venue for national sporting events.
He observed that the TG-20 Cricket League has emerged as an excellent platform for talented players from rural areas to showcase their abilities. Congratulating the Hyderabad E-Champions, he expressed confidence that they would go on to bring laurels to the nation.
The Chief Minister advised young sportspersons to remain focused, dedicated, and passionate about their chosen field to achieve success. The event was attended by Eenadu Managing Director C.H. Kiran and renowned badminton coach Pullela Gopichand.
