Medchal Collector Manu Choudhary Reviews SIR Process, Directs Faster Distribution of Enumeration Forms

మేడ్చల్: ప్రత్యేక సమగ్ర సవరణ (ఎస్ఐఆర్) ప్రక్రియలో భాగంగా ఓటరు జాబితా నవీకరణ పనులను వేగవంతం చేయాలని మేడ్చల్–మల్కాజ్గిరి జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ మను చౌదరి బూత్ లెవల్ అధికారులకు (బీఎల్వోలు) ఆదేశించారు.
గురువారం శామీర్పేట గ్రామంలో కొనసాగుతున్న ఎస్ఐఆర్ (Special Intensive Revision) ప్రక్రియను జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ ప్రత్యక్షంగా పరిశీలించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా బీఎల్వోలు నిర్వహిస్తున్న ఎన్యుమరేషన్ ఫారాల పంపిణీ, స్వీకరణ, డిజిటలైజేషన్ ప్రక్రియపై సమగ్రంగా ఆరా తీశారు.
బీఎల్వోలకు మొత్తం ఎన్ని ఎన్యుమరేషన్ ఫారాలు కేటాయించారో, ఇప్పటివరకు ఎన్ని ఫారాలు పంపిణీ చేశారో, ఎన్ని తిరిగి స్వీకరించారో కలెక్టర్ నేరుగా అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు. సేకరించిన ఫారాలను డిజిటల్ రూపంలో నమోదు చేసే విధానాన్ని కూడా పరిశీలించారు.
ఫారాలు నింపడంలో ఓటర్లకు అవసరమైన సహాయాన్ని అందించాలని, అర్హులైన ప్రతి ఓటరు వివరాలు సక్రమంగా నమోదు అయ్యేలా ప్రత్యేక శ్రద్ధ తీసుకోవాలని బీఎల్వోలకు సూచించారు. ఎలాంటి పొరపాట్లకు తావు లేకుండా ఎన్నికల సంఘం మార్గదర్శకాలకు అనుగుణంగా ప్రక్రియను పూర్తి చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు.

Medchal: Medchal–Malkajgiri District Collector Manu Choudhary directed Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to expedite the distribution and collection of enumeration forms as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls.
The Collector inspected the ongoing SIR exercise at Shamirpet village on Thursday and reviewed the progress of enumeration form distribution, collection and digitisation. He interacted directly with BLOs to assess the implementation of the revision process.
During the inspection, the Collector enquired about the total number of enumeration forms allotted, the number distributed to voters and the forms received back. He also examined how the collected forms were being digitised and uploaded into the system.
Manu Choudhary instructed BLOs to provide necessary assistance to voters while filling out the forms and ensure that all eligible electors are properly covered. He stressed that the revision process should be completed accurately and in accordance with the Election Commission’s guidelines.
Background
The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) is a voter roll update exercise conducted by the Election Commission to ensure the electoral rolls remain accurate and up to date. The process includes the enrolment of eligible new voters, correction of voter details, address changes and deletion of ineligible or deceased voters from the electoral rolls.
