బక్రీద్ పండుగను ఉమ్మడి శామీర్పేట మండల పరిధిలోని ముస్లిం సోదరులు భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో, ఉత్సాహభరిత వాతావరణంలో ఘనంగా జరుపుకున్నారు. శామీర్పేట మండలంతో పాటు అలియాబాద్ మున్సిపాలిటీ, మూడు చింతలపల్లి మున్సిపాలిటీ పరిధిలోని పలు గ్రామాల్లో పండుగ వేడుకలు ఆనందోత్సాహాల మధ్య నిర్వహించబడ్డాయి.
పండుగ సందర్భంగా ముస్లిం సోదరులు ఉదయం తొందరగానే మసీదులకు చేరుకుని ప్రత్యేక నమాజ్లు నిర్వహించారు. అనంతరం ఆయా గ్రామాల్లో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన ఈద్గాల వద్ద సామూహిక ప్రార్థనలు చేశారు. దేశంలో శాంతి, సౌభ్రాతృత్వం, ప్రజల సంక్షేమం కోసం ప్రార్థనలు చేశారు.
ప్రత్యేక ప్రార్థనల అనంతరం ఒకరినొకరు ఆలింగనం చేసుకుని బక్రీద్ పండుగ శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలియజేసుకున్నారు. కుటుంబ సభ్యులు, బంధుమిత్రులతో కలిసి పండుగను ఆనందంగా జరుపుకున్నారు.
పండుగ వేడుకలు ప్రశాంతంగా సాగేందుకు ఈద్గాల వద్ద పోలీసులు ప్రత్యేక బందోబస్తు ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. ఎలాంటి అవాంఛనీయ సంఘటనలు జరగకుండా భద్రతా చర్యలు చేపట్టారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా వివిధ రాజకీయ పార్టీల నాయకులు, ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు ముస్లిం సోదరులకు బక్రీద్ శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలియజేస్తూ సామరస్య వాతావరణాన్ని కొనియాడారు.

Muslim communities across the erstwhile Shamirpet Mandal celebrated Bakrid with great devotion and enthusiasm on Thursday. The festival was observed in several villages under Shamirpet Mandal, Aliabad Municipality, and Moodu Chintalapally Municipality.
As part of the celebrations, devotees gathered at mosques early in the morning and offered special prayers. Later, large congregations assembled at Eidgah grounds in different villages to perform Bakrid prayers and seek peace, prosperity, and communal harmony.
Following the prayers, people exchanged greetings and embraced one another, reflecting the spirit of unity and brotherhood associated with the festival. Families and friends came together to mark the occasion with traditional celebrations.
To ensure peaceful conduct of the festivities, police personnel were deployed at Eidgah grounds and other key locations. Security arrangements were made to prevent any untoward incidents during the celebrations.
Leaders from various political parties and public representatives extended Bakrid greetings to the Muslim community and appreciated the harmonious atmosphere witnessed during the festival.
