ప్రపంచ ప్రఖ్యాత వైద్య పరికరాల సంస్థ అలైన్ టెక్నాలజీ హైదరాబాద్లో భారీ పెట్టుబడి పెట్టనున్నట్లు ప్రకటించింది. తెలంగాణ లైఫ్ సైన్సెస్ అధికారులతో కుదిరిన అవగాహన ఒప్పందం (MoU) ద్వారా సంస్థ రూ.1,800 కోట్ల పెట్టుబడితో భారతదేశంలో తొలి తయారీ కేంద్రాన్ని హైదరాబాద్లో ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించింది.
ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ ద్వారా వచ్చే కొన్ని సంవత్సరాల్లో 300కు పైగా ప్రత్యక్ష ఉద్యోగాలు సృష్టించబడనున్నాయని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. ఆధునిక మెడికల్ డివైస్ తయారీ, డిజిటల్ తయారీ సాంకేతికతలు, 3D ప్రింటింగ్ వ్యవస్థలతో ఈ కేంద్రం పనిచేయనున్నట్లు సమాచారం.
తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ఇప్పటికే ఔషధ, బయోటెక్నాలజీ, మెడికల్ టెక్నాలజీ రంగాల్లో హైదరాబాద్ను ప్రపంచ స్థాయి పెట్టుబడుల కేంద్రంగా అభివృద్ధి చేయడానికి ప్రత్యేక చర్యలు తీసుకుంటోంది. అలైన్ టెక్నాలజీ పెట్టుబడి తెలంగాణ మెడ్టెక్ రంగానికి మరింత బలం చేకూర్చనుందని పరిశ్రమ వర్గాలు అభిప్రాయపడుతున్నాయి.
సంస్థ ప్రతినిధులు తెలంగాణ పరిశ్రమల శాఖ మంత్రి దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబుతో సమావేశమై హైదరాబాద్లో అందుబాటులో ఉన్న మౌలిక వసతులు, నైపుణ్యం కలిగిన మానవ వనరులు, పరిశ్రమలకు అనుకూల విధానాలపై చర్చించారు.
ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ హైదరాబాద్ను అంతర్జాతీయ మెడికల్ తయారీ కేంద్రంగా మరింత బలోపేతం చేయడమే కాకుండా, అనుబంధ పరిశ్రమలకు కూడా అవకాశాలు తీసుకురానుందని అధికారులు భావిస్తున్నారు.

Global medical device company Align Technology has announced an investment of Rs 1,800 crore to establish its first manufacturing facility in India at Hyderabad, further strengthening Telangana’s growing life sciences and MedTech ecosystem.
The project was formalised through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between senior representatives of Align Technology and Telangana Life Sciences officials. According to the company, the proposed facility will become Align Technology’s fourth manufacturing site globally and is expected to create more than 300 direct jobs over the next few years.
Officials said the Hyderabad unit will focus on advanced medical device manufacturing supported by large-scale 3D printing technologies, digital manufacturing systems and precision engineering capabilities. The facility is also expected to enhance the company’s global production capacity in digital orthodontics and healthcare technology solutions.
Senior leadership from Align Technology met Telangana Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu and discussed Hyderabad’s industrial infrastructure, skilled workforce and investment-friendly ecosystem. Industry experts believe the investment could attract additional global MedTech and healthcare manufacturing companies to Telangana.
The Hyderabad investment announcement is being viewed as another major boost for Telangana’s ambition to emerge as a global hub for pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and advanced healthcare manufacturing.
