సీబీఎస్సీ 10వ తరగతి విద్యార్థులకు కీలక అప్డేట్ వచ్చింది. సెంట్రల్ బోర్డ్ ఆఫ్ సెకండరీ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ 2026 సంవత్సరానికి సంబంధించిన రెండో విడత బోర్డు పరీక్షల టైం టేబుల్ను అధికారికంగా విడుదల చేసింది. ఈ పరీక్షలు మే 15 నుంచి ప్రారంభమై మే 21 వరకు కొనసాగనున్నాయి.
సీబీఎస్సీ గత సంవత్సరం నుంచి ఏడాదికి రెండు సార్లు బోర్డు పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించే విధానాన్ని ప్రవేశపెట్టింది. 2026 బోర్డు పరీక్షల నుంచి ఈ విధానం పూర్తిస్థాయిలో అమలులోకి వచ్చింది. దీని ద్వారా విద్యార్థులు తమ మార్కులను మెరుగుపరుచుకునేందుకు మరో అవకాశం పొందుతున్నారు.
షెడ్యూల్ ప్రకారం మే 15న గణితం (స్టాండర్డ్), గణితం (బేసిక్) పరీక్షలు మొదట నిర్వహించబడతాయి. పరీక్షలు ఆయా తేదీల్లో ఉదయం 10:30 గంటల నుంచి మధ్యాహ్నం 1:30 గంటల వరకు జరుగుతాయి. కొన్ని సబ్జెక్టుల పరీక్షలు మధ్యాహ్నం 12:30 గంటలకే ముగియనున్నాయి.
ఈ కొత్త విధానం ప్రకారం విద్యార్థులు గరిష్టంగా మూడు సబ్జెక్టుల వరకు తమ స్కోర్లను మెరుగుపరుచుకునేందుకు పరీక్షలు రాయవచ్చు. ఇది ముఖ్యంగా ప్రధాన బోర్డు పరీక్షల సమయంలో ఒత్తిడిని తగ్గించడంతో పాటు మంచి ఫలితాలు సాధించేందుకు సహాయపడుతుంది.
మొదటి పరీక్షలో కనీసం మూడు సబ్జెక్టులకు హాజరైన విద్యార్థులు రెండో బోర్డు పరీక్షలకు అర్హులు. 10వ తరగతి ఉత్తీర్ణులై మార్కులను మెరుగుపరుచుకోవాలనుకునే వారు, కంపార్ట్మెంట్ కేటగిరీ విద్యార్థులు, ఒక సబ్జెక్టుకు బదులుగా ఆరవ సబ్జెక్టును చేర్చి ఉత్తీర్ణులైన వారు, UFM కేటగిరీ 1 విద్యార్థులు, 2025 కంపార్ట్మెంట్ కేటగిరీకి చెందిన వారు కూడా అర్హులుగా పరిగణించబడతారు.
అదేవిధంగా మూడు ప్రధాన సబ్జెక్టుల వరకు ఇంప్రూవ్మెంట్ కోరుకునే విద్యార్థులు, మొదటి లేదా మూడవ అవకాశం కంపార్ట్మెంట్ పరీక్షలకు హాజరయ్యే వారు, సీబీఎస్సీ స్పోర్ట్స్ విద్యార్థులు కూడా ఈ పరీక్షలు రాయవచ్చు.
అయితే మూడు లేదా అంతకంటే ఎక్కువ సబ్జెక్టుల్లో ఫెయిల్ అయిన విద్యార్థులు, పరీక్షలకు హాజరుకాని వారు, ER కేటగిరీ కింద ఉన్న విద్యార్థులు ఈ రెండో విడత పరీక్షలకు అర్హులు కారు. వీరు వచ్చే ఏడాది మాత్రమే పరీక్షలు రాసే అవకాశం పొందుతారు.

CBSE Class 10 students have received an important update as the Central Board of Secondary Education has officially released the timetable for the Second Board Exams 2026. The second phase examinations will begin on May 15 and continue until May 21.
CBSE introduced the system of conducting board examinations twice a year from last year, and the policy is being fully implemented from the 2026 board examinations. This system gives students an additional opportunity to improve their scores.
According to the schedule, Mathematics (Standard) and Mathematics (Basic) examinations will be conducted first on May 15. Exams will be held from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, while some subject papers will conclude at 12:30 PM depending on the subject.
Under the new system, students are allowed to improve their scores in a maximum of three subjects. This helps reduce examination pressure during the main board exams and offers better chances for higher marks.
Students who appeared for at least three subjects in the first examination are eligible for the second board exams. Students who passed Class 10 and want to improve marks, compartment category students, students who passed by replacing one subject with a sixth subject, UFM Category 1 students, and 2025 compartment students are also eligible.
Students seeking improvement in up to three major subjects, those appearing for first or third chance compartment exams, and CBSE sports students can also apply for the second board exams.
However, students who failed in three or more subjects, students who did not appear for the examination, and students placed under the ER category are not eligible for the second phase exams. They will have to wait until next year to reappear.
