ప్రభుత్వ, ప్రైవేట్ పాఠశాలల్లో చదువుతున్న విద్యార్థులకు సంతోషకరమైన వార్త. తెలంగాణ, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రాల్లోని పాఠశాలలకు ఏప్రిల్ 24 నుంచి వేసవి సెలవులు ప్రారంభం కానున్నాయి. ఏప్రిల్ 23 ఈ విద్యా సంవత్సరానికి చివరి పనిదినంగా ఉండనుంది.

రెండు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు ప్రకటించిన అకడమిక్ క్యాలెండర్ ప్రకారం ఏప్రిల్ 24 నుంచి జూన్ 11 వరకు వేసవి సెలవులు అమల్లో ఉంటాయి. తిరిగి జూన్ 12న పాఠశాలలు ప్రారంభమవుతాయి. అదే రోజు నుంచి 2026-27 విద్యా సంవత్సరం ప్రారంభం కానుంది.

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో వేసవి సెలవుల సమయంలో ఉపాధ్యాయుల బదిలీలు నిర్వహించనున్నారు. అనంతరం మారిన సిలబస్‌పై జూన్ మొదటి వారంలో ఉపాధ్యాయులకు ప్రత్యేక శిక్షణ ఇవ్వనున్నారు.

వేసవి కాలంలో విద్యార్థుల భద్రతపై విద్యాశాఖ ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి సారించింది. ఎండ తీవ్రత, చెరువులు, కాలువలు, నదులు, బావుల వద్ద జరిగే ప్రమాదాలను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని జిల్లా విద్యాశాఖ అధికారులకు కీలక ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేసింది.

సెలవుల సమయంలో విద్యార్థులు కాలువలు, చెరువులు, నదులు, బావుల వద్దకు వెళ్లవద్దని సూచించింది. పెద్దల పర్యవేక్షణలో మాత్రమే ఈతకు వెళ్లాలని తెలిపింది. ముఖ్యంగా మధ్యాహ్నం 12 గంటల నుంచి సాయంత్రం 4 గంటల వరకు ఎండలో బయట తిరగకూడదని హెచ్చరించింది.

ప్రభుత్వ, ఎయిడెడ్, ప్రైవేట్ పాఠశాలల్లో విద్యార్థులకు భద్రతా చర్యలపై అవగాహన కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించాలని ఉపాధ్యాయులకు ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేసింది. తల్లిదండ్రులు కూడా సెలవుల సమయంలో పిల్లలపై నిరంతర పర్యవేక్షణ ఉంచాలని సూచించింది.

సెలవుల అనంతరం జూన్ 12న విద్యార్థులను పాఠశాలలకు పంపేలా ముందుగానే కుటుంబ ప్రయాణాలు, సెలవు టూర్లు ప్లాన్ చేసుకోవాలని అధికారులు సూచించారు.

Students studying in government and private schools across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have received good news as summer holidays will begin from April 24. April 23 will be the last working day of the current academic year for schools in both states.

According to the academic calendar announced by both state governments, summer vacation will continue from April 24 to June 11. Schools will reopen on June 12, marking the beginning of the 2026–27 academic year.

In Andhra Pradesh, teacher transfers will be conducted during the summer vacation period. After that, teachers will be given special training in the first week of June regarding the revised syllabus.

The Education Department has issued important safety instructions for students during the holiday season. Due to rising temperatures and increasing risks near ponds, canals, rivers, and wells, district education officers have been directed to create awareness among students.

Officials advised students not to visit canals, ponds, rivers, or wells during the holidays. Swimming should only be done under adult supervision. Students have also been warned not to move outside in extreme heat between 12 noon and 4 PM.

Teachers have been instructed to conduct awareness sessions on safety measures in all government, aided, and private schools before the end of the academic year. Parents have also been asked to keep constant supervision on children during the vacation.

Officials further advised families to plan vacation tours carefully so that students can return and attend school from June 12 without delay.
