శామీర్పేట మండలం అలియాబాద్ మున్సిపాలిటీలోని రామాలయం వద్ద బ్రిడ్జి నిర్మాణానికి రాష్ట్ర రోడ్లు భవనాల శాఖ మంత్రి కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకటరెడ్డి రూ.2.5 కోట్లు మంజూరు చేశారు. ఈ విషయాన్ని మున్సిపల్ చైర్పర్సన్ కంఠం శిరీష కృష్ణారెడ్డి వెల్లడించారు.
సోమవారం మంత్రి కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకటరెడ్డిని ఆయన నివాసంలో మర్యాదపూర్వకంగా కలిసిన చైర్పర్సన్ శిరీష కృష్ణారెడ్డి పుష్పగుచ్చం అందజేశారు. మున్సిపల్ ఎన్నికల సమయంలో ప్రజలకు ఇచ్చిన హామీ మేరకు అలియాబాద్ రామాలయం వద్ద బ్రిడ్జి నిర్మాణానికి నిధులు కోరగా మంత్రి వెంటనే స్పందించి నిధులు మంజూరు చేసినట్లు తెలిపారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా చైర్పర్సన్ మాట్లాడుతూ బ్రిడ్జి నిర్మాణానికి మంత్రి గ్రీన్ సిగ్నల్ ఇవ్వడంతో స్థానిక ప్రజలకు పెద్ద ఊరట లభించిందన్నారు. త్వరలోనే నిర్మాణ పనులకు శంకుస్థాపన జరగనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
అడిగిన వెంటనే నిధులు మంజూరు చేసిన మంత్రి కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకటరెడ్డికి ప్రత్యేక ధన్యవాదాలు తెలియజేశారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో కౌన్సిలర్ ముద్దం సుధాకర్ రెడ్డి, నాయకులు శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి, కొండల్ రెడ్డి, కంఠం కృష్ణారెడ్డి తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
స్థానిక ప్రజలు కూడా ఈ బ్రిడ్జి నిర్మాణంతో రాకపోకలకు సౌలభ్యం పెరుగుతుందని ఆశాభావం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు.

Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has sanctioned Rs 2.5 crore for the construction of a bridge near Ramalayam in Aliabad municipality of Shamirpet mandal. The development was confirmed by Municipal Chairperson Kantham Sirisha Krishna Reddy.
On Monday, Chairperson Sirisha Krishna Reddy met Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy at his residence and presented him with a bouquet. She requested funds for the bridge construction at Ramalayam, fulfilling a promise made during the municipal elections.
Responding immediately, the minister approved Rs 2.5 crore for the bridge project, giving a major boost to local infrastructure development in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairperson said the approval has brought great relief to local residents and that the foundation stone for the bridge construction will be laid soon.
She also expressed special thanks to Minister Komatireddy for sanctioning the funds without delay. Councillor Muddam Sudhakar Reddy and local leaders Srinivas Reddy, Kondal Reddy, and Kantham Krishna Reddy were also present during the meeting.
Residents said the new bridge would improve transportation and ease public movement in the locality.
